Highlights
- Aare River - We’ll kick off our tour with a ride along the treelined turquoise river Aare.
- Lake Thun - We’ll stop for photo’s and to take in the beauty at the shores of the crystal clear Lake Thun.
- Weissenau Castle - We’ll stop for some information on the history of this 12th century ruin. We will even walk up to the turret at the top of the old fortress (As long as there is no ice on the stairwell and it is safe to do so).
- Unterseen, Stadthausplatz - Our guide will fill you in on some of the history of the historic “old town” of Interlaken.
- Schaalbrücke - We’ll stop for photo’s and to take in the beauty of the famous Schaaal Bridgein Interlaken’s old town.
- Boenigen - We’ll pass by the traditional Swiss lakeside village of Bönigen.
- Lake Brienz - Finally we’ll stop for a heart and hand warming Swiss hot chocolate on a beach at the shores of the incredible lake Brienz.

Additional Information
Embark on a frosty journey through a haven of beauty with us. Our navigator will guide us as we set off from Interlaken next to the azure River Aare, and visit pristine lakes Thun and Brienz. Attractions on our route include the antique town of Interlaken, ruins of a 12th-century castle and the quaint Swiss settlement of Bönigen. And of course, how could we forget our pit stop for a warm cup of Swiss hot chocolate by the lake?

- 30 minutes is for the preparations before starting the tour.
- Tour not available for children under the age of 10 years
- Children should be able to keep up with a group of adults travelling at a steady pace
- Participants should be able to confidently ride a bicycle

Excellent bike tour - Tommy is very kind and organized. I would highly recommend this bike tour to anyone interested in seeing different lakes in Interlaken.

tommy is the best - definitely recommend, a great way to see Interlaken. Tommy is a great and informative tour guide, definitely ask for the seat cushion but this is an amazing way to get through some must-sees in Interlaken

Bike tour Brienz lake - Beautiful experience biking around Brienz lake. We got two well equipped bikes and the owner of the shop could suggest us some possible bike tours according to our expertise level, other than giving us useful advice. Strongly recommended (also in Winter times)

So much fun!!! - The bike tour was so much fun! Such a great way to see Interlaken! Tommy was such a great tour guide. He was super knowledgeable and so nice. The hot chocolate at the the end was such a nice treat! Must do! Also the store is really cute

Awesome experience! - This was my favorite thing I did in Interlaken (and I went paragliding). Skiing was pretty bad because there was no snow, so if the snow is bad, just skip it and go on a bike ride. The guide was very knowledgeable and took us on a great route. If you don’t want to pay for the tour, you can rent bikes from Yellow Velo and go yourself. The hot chocolate by the lake was amazing. We got to see the kayakers, which I wish I would have done. The store also has great, original shirts. I highly recommend! I would also recommend bringing a granola bar and water if you can fit it in your backpack. I got pretty hungry and was glad I had my portable water bottle.

Winter bike tour in Interlaken - Tommy was amazing, we had perfect weather and it was an amazing ride! A few hills but not a difficult ride, such pretty views! Tommy also brought some hot chocolate which was delicious and such a fun addition to the winter trip! 10/10 recommend!!

Perfect intro to Interlaken - Well-designed route to run through the best of Interlaken (2 lakes, river, canal, old town, farmhouse etc) and very professional/humorous guide! Best part was having hot chocolate near lake Brienz :D!

A beautiful introduction to Interlaken - We would absolutely recommend this 2-hour tour if you've just arrived in Interlaken. Both lakes are absolutely stunning, we visited a 13th century fortress with views of the mountains, a stunning old town, and we even had a hot chocolate by Lake Thun to top things off. Couldn't fault it at all. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and gave us loads of useful information about the area. The bikes themselves were lovely to ride and clearly well maintained. 10/10!
