An Exceptional Guide and Unforgettable Experience! - I had an absolutely incredible experience with Catriona Stevenson! She was amazing in every way. She was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Her passion for what she does shines through in every detail she shares. She made the tour engaging and fun while ensuring we learned so much about the places we visited. She also went out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Great day out cheaper than cruise excursion - We used this company whilst our ship stopped in Scotland. We had a great days tour around Stirling castle and Loch Lomond. Our guide Barrie was hospitable, knowledgeable and a ton of fun. He arranged for us to stop and feed some Scottish hairy cows which we enjoyed immensely. Lunch was in a 400 year old pub stepped in history. A fantastic day and considerably cheaper than the cruise companies offered excursion.

Slainte Cruise Excursion: Stirling, Loch Lomond & Trossac - This was worth it since the Celebrity tour only did the castle. We were also impressed with the shops just outside the port where we found the only embroidered sweatshirts made by a local. Barry was our tour guide. He made the trip go by so fast. We all enjoyed his jokes and the pride he has for his country. We all could hear him quite well, even when the air conditioning was on. We don't know how he did it, but he even got the weather to cooperate and had the sun come out for us. Thank you for helping make today special. The bus driver also did a great job.

Awesome Castle & Beautiful Countryside - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour seeing Stirling Castle (arrived right before they opened, so no big line yet!) and the beautiful country, including the Loch, and our lunch at the Drover Inn. Our host and driver were both wonderful, friendly, and informative. It was a bit confusing getting off the ship, as you have to go outside the area where all the cruise bus tours are to look for private tours (there were several private tour buses parked on the street), but once we got organized, it was smooth running the whole day.

Excellent Tour and Overview - Our ship's schedule was rather shortened but Slainte Scotland and our guide Barry and our driver Tony really worked to accommodate our schedule and get us to the attractions we wanted to see. Stirling Castle is well worth the visit and I wished we had more time but we had to stick to the ship's schedule. Loch Lomond was very pretty and the Trossachs is a lovely wooded area. We had time for a nice lunch on our own and the weather was very cooperative. Barry was very personable, funny and informative. Tony is an excellent driver We would definitely ask for them again. Our "bus" group was small and overall is was a really great day in Scotland.

What do you call a deer with no eyes? - Phenomenal tour by Barry, along with the driver Tony! Because of the short time in port we weren’t able to tour the distillery, however Barry did help us experience that a wee bit😄 Insightful and accommodating. Beautiful sites. Lively communication!

Great tour - beats cruise ship pricing - We really enjoyed the tour. striking castle is absolutely what you expect a castle to be. We had lunch at a old inn near the head of Loch Lomond. The burgers are very good. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather, even got by Scottish standards. Barry and Tony did a great job, even though we had various mechanical issues with the busses. Assuming this was just a fluke, I would recommend this tour as it is tremendous value for the money. Certainly a 5 star experience if they work out the bus issues.

Blame it on the weather? - Our tour skipped some of the promised sites because of the poor weather. While that was certainly a hindrance, there should be a "plan B" for rainy days, even if it is is simply allowing more time at Stirling Castle, or there should be a caveat that certain sites are weather-dependent. Also, be aware that the drive to and from the Drovers Inn is more than an hour each way, making the day mostly about Stirling Castle and lunch. In retrospect we wish we had selected a tour with a different itinerary.

Skip the tour, go to Stirling Castle - Unfortunately this tour was a disappointment. I was not greeted by the tour guide at the scheduled time and waited on the street in the rain for some time before my tour guide invited me onto a dirty bus. I sat in a chair that had someone else's lunch trash from the day before. The beginning of the tour further proved to be a rocky start as his microphone did not work and he stood in front of guests talking loudly for all to hear. There was little narration, history, and other facts from the guide. The trip to Stirling Castle was amazing and the castle guide provided a wealth of information. It was engaging and very informative. The remainder of the day was spent on a bus with little interaction from the guide and no real guidance regarding where we were headed next or the time frame. After our lunch stop I waited with the other guests on the bus while our tour guide socialized off the bus. I spent the day wishing I could get off the bus and back to my ship. The tour was advertised as 6-8 hours and it was a solid 9 hours of disappointment. Do not waste your money. As a travel agent I will not recommend this to my guests!

Cancelled last minute and no refund - Like a number of the more recent reviews our early September tour was cancelled last minute, with no refund provided and the company stopped answering calls / emails within 48hrs. It made some precious time with my parents far more stressful than needed. Under no circumstances do I recommend booking with this company or Clyde Coast Tourism Ltd. We have finally got our money back through PayPal (a month later) but it’s been convoluted and difficult. Please send me a DM if you find yourself in the same situation, I will be taking this further and would like to hear from other customers in the same situation.
