Participants should have a moderate level of fitness as the hike includes an ascent for half of the duration, with the remainder being less strenuous. The hike lasts roughly 1.5 hours, followed by a brief intermission for a light refreshment at a local spot, which is covered by your fee. Subsequently, the hike resumes for an additional 1.5 hours. Post-hike, we will return you to your port. The travel time to and from the hiking location by minivan or car is approximately 15 minutes each way, with the entire excursion lasting about 4 hours.

Join a proficient guide on a journey to witness the captivating locations in the Highlands, many of which are famous due to the Outlander TV series and Diana Gabaldon’s book.
The adventure commences in Inverness, where we pick you up. You’ll be taken to the grounds of Culloden battlefield and experience the historical skirmish through virtual reality, followed by a visit to Clava Cairns, the source of inspiration for Creag Dubh. A scenic drive through the city of Inverness is set next on our itinerary, featuring plenty of photo stops at the popular Inverness castle. A short 30-minute drive by the Loch Ness leads us to Drumnadrochit.
Our next point of interest is the recently upgraded Nessie center. Spend close to an hour discovering the charm of the place, exploring the gift shop, or visit UK’s smallest gin distillery for a complimentary tasting of their fine gin.
Our journey continues to Urquhart castle, which resides serenely by the loch.
Traveling through the wilderness of Culnakirk, the homeland of Simon the Fox Fraser, we descend into Beauly. Here you can either visit the ancient Priory, explore the local shops, or proceed directly to Robertson’s farm to meet the Highland cows.
