• Tierradentro - Visit the National Archaeological Park of Tierradentro, one of Colombia’s most significant sites. Upon arrival, you’ll understand the profound anthropological and historical significance of this place.

Tour the park to witness remnants from three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial, and republican. Walk among the underground tombs, known as hypogeums, carved into volcanic rock, and marvel at the decorations within the various funerary chambers. Did you know some of these tombs reach depths of up to 8 meters?

Additionally, learn about the courageous Paece indigenous people who inhabited this land before the Spanish arrived and allied with their neighbors to defend their territory.

• San Andrés de Pisimbalá-Santa Rosa - After exploring the tombs, ascend to the surface to view stone statues of indigenous idols shaped like animals and visit the museum housing artifacts from the excavations.

Take a break for lunch, featuring a choice of chicken or meat, served with rice, soup, salad, patacones, and a drink. In the afternoon, discover colonial-era remnants by visiting the church of San Andrés de Pisimbalá, a unique stone structure with a thatched roof.
