Kalarites - Renowned for its tailors, builders, merchants, stone craftsmen, and silversmiths, Kalarites, along with Syrrako, is a traditional settlement and tourist destination in the mountainous Tzoumerka region. The natural beauty here is breathtaking.
Pramanta - Situated at an altitude of 840 meters, this settlement is built amphitheatrically at the base of Mount Strogoula (2,107 meters), one of Tzoumerka’s most imposing peaks. The main square is dominated by a 500-year-old plane tree and the historic Arapis fountain, located next to the main church of Agia Paraskevi.
Anemotrypa Cave - Discovered in 1960, Anemotripa Cave in Pramanta was found through a small slot in the rocks emitting cool air. This led to the exploration and discovery of the cave, which is uniquely penetrated by a river, allowing for natural self-purification without human intervention, making visits particularly enjoyable.
Frasta - The Plakas bridge, built in 1866, was once the largest single-arched bridge in the Balkans, with a span of 40 meters, a height of 19 meters, and a 3.2-meter opening at the top. From 1881 to 1913, it served as a border between Greece and Turkey.
Theodoros Papagiannis Museum of Contemporary Art - This museum is unique in that it features works that reflect the heritage and history of Epirus, celebrating its glory and the respect it commands among Greeks. It highlights themes such as bread, benefactors, exiles, intellectuals, craftsmen, shepherds, farmers, and the enduring Epirot mother, as well as the importance of education.
Iera Moni Panagias Tsoukas - According to tradition, this monastery was founded in 1190 by Emperor Isaac II Angelos, destroyed in 1736, and renovated in 1779.

Aoos Springs Lake - This artificial lake, situated at an altitude of 1,350 meters and covering an area of 12 square kilometers, was created in 1986 for energy production. It lies between the Valia Calda and Vikos-Aoos Geopark national parks.

Dodoni Sanctuary and Theatre - Imagine a sold-out drama performance 2,300 years ago in a theatre that seated 18,000 spectators! This theatre, located near the oracle, prompts reflections on the cultural and economic life of the time. It is one of Greece’s most significant archaeological sites, located 22 kilometers from Ioannina.
Pavlos Vrellis Museum of Greek History - Located outside Bizani in Ioannina, this museum features 150 life-sized wax models set in authentic representations of their historical environments, primarily showcasing figures from modern Greek history in thematic sections.
Ioannina Castle - This enchanting castle, built in 528 by Emperor Justinian, is steeped in legends and serves as a cultural crossroads. The Kale, or Acropolis, houses small museums and collections and becomes a cultural hub in the summer with concerts and events.
Lake Pamvotis - Known as the Island Without a Name, this is one of Europe’s few inhabited lake islands. It is home to about 250 residents, mostly fishermen, and features pine trees, unique stone houses, a natural port, and seven monasteries, making it the third-largest monastic community after Mount Athos and Meteora.
Perama Cave - Located just 4 kilometers from Ioannina in the village of Perama, this 1.5-million-year-old cave is one of Europe’s most spectacular. Visitors are often awestruck by its natural beauty, featuring thousands of stalagmites and stalactites in various forms. Notable formations include the Cross, the Statue of Liberty, and Santa Claus.
Vikos Aoos Geopark
Kipoi - Once the capital of the Zagori area, Kipoi is one of the oldest settlements, dating back to 1431.
Kokkori Bridge - Constructed between the 18th and 19th centuries.
Skalopatia Vradeto - A great route for visitors, the road to Vradeto village was built in 1970, replacing the Vradetos steps that residents used daily.
Σαρακατσάνικη Στάνη - This complex of traditional houses, set in a 20,000-square-meter forest of fir and pine trees, aims to recreate the Sarakatsani way of life.
Konitsa Bridge - Located at the southwestern point of Konitsa, at the entrance to the Aoos valley, this large stone bridge was built in 1870-71 by a team of 50 craftsmen, funded by local donations. It replaced a wooden bridge from 1823 that had been destroyed. The current bridge spans 36 meters and stands 20 meters high.
