SURFS UP - I’ve done two lessons with them and they are Amazing! The lessons teach me so much. The first one was basic . The 2nd one they told me was going to be a little difficult due to the waves but the instructor was very helpful and gave me tips the whole time. I can’t wait to go on my own!

Excellent surf school - My son and daughter took surf lessons at Matrix surf school and they had a good time. The instructors, especially Rafael are very dedicate and professional. We ended up booking 4 more lessons directly with them and Rafael gave us a very good price. Thank you Rafael.

Nice and friendly surfing instructors - I have never tried surfing before, so I took a class without doing much research just to see if I like it or not. My instructor Rafael showed me techniques, explained how to navigate the wave and let me discover it by myself, providing feedback when needed. He was friendly, trying to help and focused on you. My belongings were always safely kept at the tent. One class was definitely not enough to get it all, so I booked classes with a school directly. It was very flexible, we could decide the day before if the class takes place or not. Rafael was always ready to reschedule if the waves were not big enough, for me to get the best of it. I enjoyed the experience of riding the waves, as well as chatting with Rafael inbetween waves. Would definitely come back again.

Adventure through Rio - I booked a surf lesson, but on the scheduled day the instructor informed me that the sea conditions were not favorable and canceled the lesson. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the next day, but the instructor kindly saved my class for me to use when I was available. My experience with Surf Matrix was incredible! I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in learning to surf. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The instructor was amazing, very helpful and did a great job explaining the basic techniques and helping me catch waves!

Best Surf lesson - It was a very nice surf lesson with a very good instructor. He teached me very well and sang a lot of Songs while waiting for the waves 😂 it was like a concert in the water. I really enjoyed it and had a nice time

I recommend!!! - My first experience trying surf lessons was amazing. The instructor managed to convey his knowledge in a clear and easy to understand way, his patience and skill made all the difference in my learning.

My little ones had the opportunity to learn to surf with a lot of commitment, care and enthusiasm. - The water was beautiful, so crystal clear that we could see the bottom of the sea even though it was shallow. It was a breathtaking scene.....

Booked an English tour and got no English - We booked an english guide because thats the only language we speak and the man who came with us did not speak any english. I was not able to successfully surf because he could not give me any tips. You can get this for way cheaper somewhere else and just confirm in person that you have someone who speaks your language.
