The mansion is said to be haunted by the spirit of William Kellie Smith.

Exceptional tour guide and driver, Jai - I feel very fortunate to have found Jai online when searching for a private tour guide. I arranged two consecutive days of touring with him around Ipoh and a transfer to Penang. Firstly, it was very easy to communicate with Jai via WhatsApp. He arrived promptly for our tours and was very friendly and accommodating. He has an amazing knowledge of the area and went above and beyond to give us the very best tour possible, picking up on what interested us the most and giving us authentic experiences that we hadn’t anticipated, making unforgettable memories for myself and my cousin. I would highly recommend Jai, if you are looking for a tour guide and would definitely use him again, if we were to return to Malaysia.

Far beyond expectations - We selected Jaies’ tour because he was one of the few, if not the only, who provided a car seat for our 15-month-old daughter. In addition, the program was full of visits and would allow us to discover a bit of the surroundings of Ipoh, which we would have struggled to do on our own. Reality has exceeded expectations: Jaies proved extremely attentive to the needs of our daughter, allowing us to take small breaks when necessary and adapting the itinerary to her needs as well. These attentions were greatly appreciated. The planned visits turned out to be incredible and Jaies explained the stories and traditions related to each place impeccably, answering all our questions and curiosities. I recommend this tour and the other services offered without hesitation.

Wonderful Ipoh with great guide Jai. - We had a great time on our day tour of Ipoh. Thanks to our guide Thiru Jai Ganesh who planned the itenarary very well. We were treated to excellent information on every visit. Jai Ganesh provided us with great historical information about the placed in Ipoh. 10/10 for our friend Jai. Jai u truly made our Ipoh visit memorable.

A great day in Ipoh - It is a fantastic trip that includes history, culture and very interesting sights. We liked the fact that we were able to customize our itinerary. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personalble. An excellent day spent in Ipoh and the surrounding area.

Best IPOH tour with TOM - Tom is an excellent guide!! The tour was super complete, he is a super friendly person, not only made us tour the tourist points of interest but also took us through places to taste local food , told history of the place customs etc a super recommended place !!!

Overwhelming and unique tour - Having already had the chance to experience the tour to the Cameron Highlands with Jai and was extremely excited, I was really looking forward to the tour around Ipoh.
And Jai exceeded my expectations again. I wonder how he manages to pack so many wonderful things and experiences into one tour. Never before have I experienced such well-organized, well-planned and unforgettable tours as with Jai. I experienced more that day than I did the entire week before. Thanks to him, I got to know and love Ipoh as a city. It would have been fatal to skip this station, because I would have missed so much. All the more I am glad to experience and feel all these beautiful and unique places.
The temples around Ipoh are uniquely beautiful, colorful and overwhelming in their own way. In addition, you always learn something new and every temple has a surprise in store. I never thought I'd be able to feed Japanese turtles before. Kellie's Castles is definitely worth seeing. Without Jai's many explanations about history, I would have thought this place was just an old ruin. But thanks to him, the castle came back to life for a moment.
The tour through the cave was also a whole new experience and a well-done contrast to the rest of Malaysia. Of particular note is that Jai takes his job incredibly seriously and does not just drive from station to station. He explained an incredible amount already on the way and let me share his incredibly great knowledge. He accompanied to every sight and made sure that the cave tour went without accidents and no one tripped.
The trip to Hidden Sea was so unexpected and overwhelming for me at the same time. I had seen so many beautiful things the hours before and was absolutely satisfied.
But then suddenly I found myself wearing a life jacket on a dinghy, riding through a cave and coming out again in one of the most beautiful places in the world. This lake seems like a brief moment no longer in this, but in a dream world. It was so incredibly beautiful.
But that's not all, because of course we also saw the famous cave temple with the unique cave painting. It is definitely a place worth seeing.
I will never forget that Jai even structured the tour so that he dropped me off at the station on time.
I can only thank you for this wonderful day. I couldn't have experienced more and better. Jai outdid himself. I would book this tour again if I could.

See some unique attractions - Fun! It was very nice to see the castle ruin with a unique story and the amazingly huge cavern, plus hillside cave temples with amazing sacred images, and a forward-thinking agarwood plantation. It was a very memorable day, and the driver and guide was very careful and polite.

Great time in Ipoh - The story behind the castle and the history of the cave temples were all very interesting. Our guide, Tom, was amazing and knowledgeable about Ipoh. He was also accommodating in what we wanted to see on the tour. He went above and beyond in making sure we had what we needed. He also brought us to local eateries for fabulous authentic local food. We highly recommend this tour and Tom to our friends.

Fantastic Ipoh Tour - We took the Ipoh private tour and went with very moderate expectations given our very average experience in KL.
It was a fantastic and enriching experience on the tour. Jaie shared the history and the story behind the town and all the places we visited. He was very accomodating with our requests and not for once, did we feel rushed to complete the tour at a specific time. This tour was the highlight of our Malaysia trip
