2 days of jungle fun - I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. We got to do a lot in just two days. We saw many animals and hiked the jungle. Our guide Edwin was fantastic. I would do another tour with him. The accommodations are basic and fine for a night. The meals were yummy. We even got to eat our own piranha caught earlier that day. Be sure to bring cash tips for different things.

A great way to tour the Amazon Jungle - I had the most incredible time on the 2 day jungle tour with Maniti Lodge! The lodging was comfortable, the food was fresh and delicious, the staff were welcoming and our guide Linder was super knowledgeable. He took us on multiple jungle hikes to see giant ceiba trees, monkeys, tarantulas, snakes, frogs, birds, sloths and many more cool animals. We stopped at an animal rescue center which gave us the opportunity to play with and hold tons of exotic animals from the jungle. We got to go swimming in the Amazon, piranha fishing and we visited a local indigenous tribe to see their way of life. For those who are interested you can even do Ayahuasca with Shamans there. Overall a great experience and I can't recommend it enough.

Amazing experience! - Great experience with Maniti exploring the Amazon from Iquitos! Our tour guide, Alfredo, was excellent and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. He was very patient in looking for different animals and ensuring that we had the best experience. We were slightly nervous about the night hike through the jungle, but he made us feel safe and we are glad we did it! The food was also delicious and all the staff at the lodge were welcoming and friendly. Amazing experience and definitely recommend!

Relaxing but exciting quick adventure! - Segundo was the best guide! He took great care of us, making sure we felt welcomed, safe and comfortable. All of the experiences were amazing and we had downtime as well to relax. We had a limited amount of time and still felt like we got to see and do a lot of cool things!

Wonderful - The tour was the highlight of our amazing trip to Peru. We were only there a couple of days yet felt the most relaxed of the whole holiday. This is a safe introduction to the Amazon experience and you're kept very busy with hikes, a pre-dawn start for a trip down the river to see wildlife etc. It was lovely to go to bed, listening to the sound of the jungle and impossible to stay awake when resting on the hammocks during the day. What truly made it great was our wonderful, kind and supportive guide, Edwin. Organisations are defined by their staff and Edwin and the team at the lodge were brilliant; nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

Best experience of my life - I can't say enough how much I loved my time with Maniti. Everything was just incredible. Rodrigo is an amazing guide- he's so kind, knows everything about the jungle, and fit so much in during a short amount of time. The experiences were perfect, food was delicious, and lodging was nice and clean. Already planning my next trip back, and I highly recommend this to everyone.

Absolutely life changing - BOOK WITH RODRIGO!!!! We had an amazing experience solely because of our tour guide Rodrigo. He had a great sense of humour and made sure everyone involved got to see the plants and creatures during the jungle walks as it may sometimes be hard for everyone to spot the same small frog or tarantula. He brought us into the neighbouring village and immersed us into the culture of the Amazon. We played a 10 vs 10 game of soccer with the local kids too organised by Rodrigo which was a highlight as we loved it more than the kids.

Great experience - This was a really great time, lots of activities in a short time period. If you have the time, the longer tours offer a bit more, but if you’re short on time like I was this is ideal. We started the first day out by visiting a local tribe, getting settled at our camp, seeing monkey island (which was probably the best part) and seeing some other animals, then ending the day with a night hike. Day 2 started early so we had a chance to see the sunrise and some pink dolphins in the Amazon river, then a morning hike, and finally getting to fish for some piranhas (we even got to eat them). The lodging is basic but covers all the necessities, and you have a private bathroom. The meals were also pretty good. Overall I highly recommend this tour, our guide Edwin was very knowledgeable and knew the area well, and was able to answer any questions we had. The next time I’m in Peru I plan on doing the jungle survival course with him

2 unforgettable days in the jungle with Segundo Mesia - We had a great time in the jungle booked through Maniti. We were picked up from our hostel and brought to the office. Luckily we had packed everything we needed for the two days into a day pack so we left our big backpacks there (which was also suggested by the guide) - we would definitely advise to do the same. We then rode by mototaxi to the boat and from there cruises down the Amazon to visit the indigenous tribe and then went to the lodge. Our guide Segundo Mesia was THE BEST. His level of English was really good and he was super knowledgeable about everything. You could really feel the passion he has for his job and the jungle and he fully transmitted that to us. The lodging is basic, so don’t expect anything fancy, but absolutely fine. The prepared food was really really good. There is drinkable water in the dining room available at any time to fill up water bottles. Softdrinks and Beer can be bought on site. For the night walk our guide suggested us to have flashlights and no headlamps because of the mosquitos. We didn’t have one with us but our guide bought one for us for 30 soles. Overall the tour was amazing. Since we weren’t sure if we liked to be in the jungle we only booked two days and one night. But it was absolutely worth it and we felt safe at all times. We also feel like we didn’t miss much in comparison to the 4 day tour which includes another jungle hike, a visit to some alligator farm, a visit to a village in the jungle and one night camping.
