I wish i stayed longer. - So wholesome! I had no idea what to expect as it was my first time in the Amazon. I did the 3 day tour and I wish I stayed longer. I met other solo travelers and our group was so amazing. The people at the lodge were kind and always happy to help. Shoutout to Javier! And Edwin, our tour guide was absolutely the best! You could easily feel the love for the Amazon that he has! i learned sooo much in 3 days and i cannot wait to come back! it has been truly a great experience!

Great Amazon experience! Hieno kokemus! - I had a extraordinary stay at Maniti. My guide was Edwin, who knows everything about plants, animals and Amazonian life. The jungle is like a big pharmacy. I had a two night package but on the second day I already had everything in the program. As an extra I went canoing which is a nice relaxing way to explore the surroundings. Last morning I took a river boat back to Iquitos, had a motorkar rental and sightseeing tour with Edwin. Suosittelen Amazonille matkaajille! Hyvä varautua, että on kuumaa ja kosteaa. Hyttyset eivät minua haitanneet yhtään. Niitä on vähemmän kuin Suomessa. Voi riippua vuodenajasta.

Best of hosts - Renee, our host and guide did a wonderful job of looking out for us. Just remember that the heat and humidity can take a toll, especially if you are older. Recommend this trip for those under 60 who are in good shape. Food was great, lots of great photo opportunities.

Far from a Hilton! - As soon as we arrived we were told that was not the Hilton! These words will never be forgotten! And it's one thing not to be the Hilton and it's another thing to be put in rooms worse than a hostel, dirty and old. Not to mention the bathroom... the water came out brown, it seems that it did not filter well the water of the Amazon... The food seemed like school camp as they forced you to eat on their schedules and it was all the time the same. There were times we forgot we were on vacation!! As for the excursions, they were quite short and many did not set anything aside. In fact, they put us all on the first day so that those who went only one night did everything, so the rest of the days we had nothing and were very repetitive. The jungle walk (around the perimeter of the lodge) was the same all the time only day or night. Only insects and vegetation were seen. We finally did not make ayahuasca, the best decision of the 3 days in the jungle. To top it off, there was only electricity 3 hours a day, hence no ventilation. In short, for the high price does NOT COMPENSATE, it is a deception to tourists. We wouldn't recommend it to our worst enemy. Greetings from Spain
