Great, Flexible Jungle Tour (3 Days) – Also Suitable for Vegetarians - Summary: - Good food, also for vegetarians - Great accommodation with mosquito nets - Competent and friendly staff (guide with very good English) - Flexible, the tour is tailored to the travelers' wishes - Authentic, not just a show for tourists Cozy stay with hammocks in the common area and mosquito nets around the building, with an additional one around the bed. There are showers and toilets with toilet paper. The food was very good, also for vegetarians (mostly rice and lentils with delicious vegetables in sauce/juice—not just dry rice as often found in Peru, with tasty fruits. For meat-eaters, it’s usually fish or chicken instead of lentils). We saw many animals: monkeys, sloths, dolphins, spiders, frogs... A big thank you to our guides, Roy and Frank. They guided us professionally through the jungle, showed us many animals (some of which I would have definitely missed without them), and we learned a lot about plants and their effects. What I appreciated the most was the flexibility. The tour was adjusted according to the travelers' wishes (e.g., a kayaking tour for vegetarians instead of fishing, and when someone asked about eating in the jungle, they promised to let us try worms the next day). A big thank you to the whole team. I would recommend this to everyone (at least 3 days). Best wishes Brigitte and Janosch

Great guides make a fascinating tour - Really good value for money. Our tour guides, Frank and Frank, were perfect professionals. Out guides were extremely knowledgeable about the local area and local wild life. We saw many different animals and Frank was able to teach us about all of them. The food provided was also delicious. The lodge had space to relax in hammocks with great scenery as well. The lodge is close to the local village also.

AVOID! THEY LACK RESPECT FOR TOURISTS! - AVOID! From the beginning of my pick-up, they spent half an hour earlier at my hotel, then the van that was transporting us was going very fast and did not have good brakes. The agent who sold me this 3-day tour gave me a price of 600 soles and said: there is air conditioning there. When I arrive I say: is there air conditioning here? It was my second time in the Amazon and I knew that there were basic, intermediate and somewhat more luxurious lodges. A man answers me: return in the same boat you came from! We don't want your bad energy. Despite this and hearing the manager on loudspeaker say: I don't believe that lady at all. I stayed the 3 days. I received the same food for 3 days. I was totally judged by the men here except the 2 young men who help with boat navigation. They put me on a local bus back and not in a car (it cost 3 soles difference!). During the 3 days the guide did not show me where the Amaxonas River begins!! And on my first morning I canceled the sunrise view and on the second day I was alone since the couple I had joined left, and this activity was not included so I went alone to the town of Alado (3 minutes walking) to watch the sunrise. The music here is constant and can be heard in this lodge every afternoon until after midnight. There is 1 lady cooking and always trying to wash. For those who are non-vegetarians, chicken every day! And in the town they sell fish for a couple of soles and green bananas grow for free!! There is no professionalism, cordiality, seriousness and rather a lot of arrogance where the meaning of money is not valued.
