Fantastic food and cultural experience in Iquitos! - Hello fellow foodies and culturist! This experience in Iquitos with Pepe was truly amazing. He is born and raised here in Iquitos Peru and has a very wide range of knowledge, history and culture of the region. This is a walking tour that last approximately 4 hours, with 5 stops in total. You will not only learn about food from the region but also get a history lesson with the availability to ask as many questions as you have. Pepe never got tired of answering mine and other members of the tours questions food related and culturally as well. We enjoyed wonderful local food, aguaje ice cream and refreshing drinks from the region. He offers meat loving options as well as vegetarian options. I give this tour 5+ stars and the next time I visit I will return and do it all over again for a wonderful evening of food, drinks and meeting new fellow people on the tour!

So i got in contact with Pepe, he answered quickly, very kind and explained every detail needed. The tour was amazing, food sublime, one of the things i enjoyed the most was the knowledge Pepe carries with him and the humorous way to tell stories, answer questions and bring the group all together. Thank you Pepe for this wonderful experience ✨

Totally worth it!! - As a New Yorker surrounded by endless food options, I thought I’d seen it all – but Pepe’s Food Tour in Iquitos was an unforgettable adventure. We tried exotic flavors starting with delicious snacks made of yuca, the best leaf-wrapped grilled fish, and then ending with the unique texture of the juane. Every bite was a revelation. Pepe’s knowledge and enthusiasm brought the Amazonian culinary scene to life. The tour was more than just food it was a perfect balance between walking, tasting, stories, laughing and we enjoyed stunning Amazon Rainforest views while sipping amazonian elixirs, making the experience feel magical. What made this tour truly special was Pepe himself. More than a guide, he’s a storyteller and proud ambassador of Iquitos. His passion for the region is contagious, and he gave us a deep appreciation for its culture and cuisine. Whether you’re a foodie or an adventurer, this tour is a must. Coming from someone who’s hard to impress, it was a 10/10. Don’t miss it!

Out of this world - This food tour was out of this world! I tried food I had never even heard of and it was delicious. The tour itself was so creatively curated. We walked to the different food spots and each walk was an opportunity to learn more about the city and its rich history. Pepe, the tour guide, is very knowledgable about the food, the land, and the people. He accommodated our different needs and the entire tour felt smooth. 10/10 I recommend to anyone visiting Iquitos!

10/10 The Best Food Tour in Iquitos - Truly the best food tour in Iquitos. If you're looking for one, look now further. You can't go wrong with this tour. The guide, Pepe, was really great. Flexible and understanding. He spoke about each dish and also made a couple stops around town to tell us about its history. The tour had 5 food stops and lasted for several hours. I got to taste amazing dishes I never knew about and are very local to the area. Even went back the next day to a couple spots to try more dishes.

My favorite foodie experience - This tour was very tasty and a lot of fun. The highlight was the local guide, Pepe Rivas. Pepe LOVES food and Peruvian culture, so we were able to enjoy great flavors through Pepe’s enthusiastic perspective and love of life. The spots are very well chosen to show different aspects of local culinary traditions and varied ambiences. Pepe removed all the headaches and amplified the fun of trying new foods in a foreign country. Loved it. One of the best memories of my trip to Peru.
