Think twice before you book - Approached Johnny to organize a 5 day tour. The tour in the Amazon itself was fine and what you can expect of it. The guide, René, was a blast. Despite that I am giving a poor review, as the service had some serious flaws and one should be careful in booking it remotely. On the service: I booked a private ceremony with guarantee on an English speaking shaman, however, in the actual ceremony I found myself with 2 other travelers and the shaman not being able to communicate in English. Secondly, the location chosen was an unfinished hut, where construction stuff was laying around, mosquito's could enter freely and a diesel generator was running next to the building. Although I booked a private tour, there were other people added to the guide. He just said he was not responsible for this decision and couldn't do anything about it. And to be fair, I had fun with the participants, so I didn't mind that much. What I did mind, is that they booked exactly the same tour at one fourth (25%) of the price at Iquitos. After the trip have approached Johnny with the complaints. Initially there was response to find out what happened, but the answer did not came, even after 10 reminders. I believe the above could have been addressed more appropriately. Due to the lack of (after)service and over charging, I wouldn't recommend this place.
