Breathtaking scenery and up-close animal encounters. - We visited several stops by boat along the Amazon River including a couple of animal sanctuaries where you can get up close and personal with native wildlife, and local village, and the Giant Tree.

Amazon river boat trip - We went for a boat trip on the Amazon river, it was beautiful and we even saw pink dolphins! Our guide, Robinson, was very friendly and punctual, I recommend!

One great tour guide! - We like Kelwin. He is informative but not “in yer face” and he speaks really good English and answered all our questions. We asked Kelwin if he could take us on the Amazon river in a boat for 2 hours. We had no expectations of what we might see as nature is always unpredictable but we came across a pod of Amazonian dolphins! Kelwin and the skipper were more than happy to follow the dolohins for almost an hour! What a fantastic experience!
The next day we asked if we could visit a local animal rescue centre in a mototaxi and Kelwin granted our wish even though he had always done the trip by boat before.
We will definitely get in touch with Kelwin again whenever we visit Iquitos.
