Excellent guides, great experience - Excellent experience. The guides were friendly, communicative, and helpful. The Rio Negro is beautiful! We visited in August 2024 during the dry, hot season for 2 days and 1 night. They were able to accommodate my dad, who is in his late 70s and is walking with 2 canes due to a severe quadricep injury last year. He loved the jungle hike, though it was definitely a struggle (be warned—they say it is 2 to 3km, but my iPhone pedometer logged over 5km). Getting in and out of boats was tricky, but very doable. Some highlights: - Pink river dolphin encounter - Piranha fishing - Good food provided and plenty of water - Baby alligator catching at night - Sunset on the river. The river is absolutely huge. It feels more like a large lake. - Sunrise in a little rural village - Indigenous village visit with some instrumentals, simple dances, and simple foods. - Some little monkeys were hanging out on a bridge by a restaurant in the side of the river where we ate right by Janauari park. One snuck in and stole a mayonnaise packet and made off with it. - Meeting of the waters - The floating port was interesting. There is a massive placard showing the highest water level each year over the last 140 or so years. It would probably be suitable and enjoyable for older children (8+) and teens too.

These 2 days were full of... - These 2 days were full of activities and curious experiences - you certainly won't get bored! We were provided with the food the locals eat themselves: fish, beans, chicken, manioc, etc. (+ some exotic snacks the local tribes eat) - everything was delicious! A hut where I stayed had an A/C and bathroom, the only downside was mosquitos, but repellents is a must anyway. This tour is one of the brightest memories from my Brazilian trip!

Amazon Tour - Everything mentioned in the tour description was exactly as described. All the guides, drivers, and staff were amazing. The owners of the floating house were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food provided was excellent. If I were to go again, I would definitely stay for at least one night more 😊.

Awesome 2-days, 1-night jungle experience - This tour is a once in a lifetime experience. Everything mentioned in the information about the tour was fullfilled. The food, the swimming with the dolphins, the piranha fishing, the sunset und and sunrise and everything else was so nice. But the most i liked my tour guides Fabio and Denjis, such nice human beings with a huge amount of knowledge about what they doing. Just to recommend for all who wants to try this out. :)

Obrigado! - Thank you Fabio, Mateus en Denis for this fantastic experience. We loved the hike with Fabio with his passion for nature. The hospitality of Mateus and his wife to feel safe to sleep in the Amazone, and of course Denis, for the search to a sloth and his love for the Amazone. For us a once in a lifetime experience. We will never forget this as a family. Obrigado!

Awesome interaction with the amazon. - Overall I had a great experience exploring the Amazon and the Rio Negra with very informative and attentive guides, ‘swimming’ with the pink dolphins was a highlight and we were fortunate enough to see a three toed sloth on our jungle hike. The accomodation was basic but comfortable and the food was great. I do think that there were areas where information was lacking, for instance it would have been good to be given a bit of a ‘lesson’ on the pink dolphins (I didn't even know they existed until this trip), the same goes for the fish farm on the second day ie. the kind of fish, what the farm does, where the fish go etc. we were basically just given rods with the fish attached, some safety instructions and let loose! It also would have been helpful if the driver who picked me up from my hotel explained a bit more about what was happening, I felt like I was being driven into the middle of nowhere, other passengers were dropped off randomly and I was continuing on, as a solo traveller, it would have been reassuring to know exactly what was happening.

Good guides but need better location for jungle walk - Guides were good. However, there was a disconnect in pickup at the end of first day to take us to the lodge for the night and we had to wait for a long time when we were told max. 20 minutes wait. Jungle walk was not too exciting - no animals except one sloth and a tarantula. Maybe better location is needed.

Nice experiences - Nice experienre, everything ok and the people guide you are very nice. Some moments we need more guide references about what to do about the package tour, because the plan or company changes. But at the end was amazong time there!

Weather and length of day - Picked up at 7:40 am and dropped off at 8:40 pm. Too long in a small canoe! Guide was wonderful but weather was rain in the canoe for 4-5 hours. Exhausting
