Fun bike adventure on the Aran Islands with great guide. - Phil was a gas! We had a fun adventure with a knowledgeable native tour guide. I recommend the electric bike. It’s an extra 20€ but worth it. The biking tour itself was shorter than i expected, but thats because it took awhile to get there from galway. Phil was great to chat with along the way. I also recommend bringing plenty of cash. We found hand knit Aran sweaters in Maire’s home nearby the castle and they were absolutely amazing (140€ each). But the only ATM on the island was broken! Not to miss if you want a great Aran sweater.

Nice Island, nice Tour Operators - Sub-contractor was Ollie’s Tours. We met Ollie but were placed in overflow group with 4 little kids and their parents who were in lala-land. They should have taken the horse buggy. Why isn’t there a cut off age or separate group for little bike riders? One kid stopped short on her bike, which caused my wife to avoid and crash into a stone wall, drawing a little blood on her hand. No one else witnessed it, no big deal, but really annoying. Our tour operator, I think her name was Elenor was very nice and gave a great bike tour of Island. Island was very beautiful and the tea and scones were awesome.

Fabulous day trip - Our guide Sofia was very personable and knowledgeable. She made the trip super fun and happily answered all the questions. Scones were fantastic and the man in the scone shop came over and talked a bit. Very good local perspective. I highly recommend this day trip. Sofia gets bonus points for bringing fantastic weather with her.

Great tour, great guide, great experience! - This was an excellent tour! Tommy, our guide, was absolutely terrific. While riding around this lovely island, Tommy made sure that everyone stayed safe and felt very comfortable. He made us smile and laugh while had this lovely bike ride around the island. As a local resident of the area, and very knowledgeable, Tommy shared wonderful stories with us and gave us a great background and history of the Aran Islands.. and he did it in a very interesting and entertaining way. The tour was wonderful, but Tommy made it even more special with his great stories! And just a note about the bikes. They were great! The bikes were in tiptop shape and the bike shop also provided helmets. I chose an electric bike which I’m really happy that I did. There are some hills and it makes a lot easier to ride. I had never rode an electric bike before and I was a little nervous about it, but it was very easy. I’m a senior citizen and I was really concerned that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the group. The owner of the company, Ollie, recommended the E bike for me for me and I’m glad he did. After the bike ride was complete, Tommy took us to a great place for delicious scones on the island. The family that owned the bake shop was so gracious and they came out and chatted with us and told us more great tidbits about the Aran islands because this family goes back generations. One other thing I would like to say is that Ollie, the owner of this company, is terrific! He has made a great company and he is extremely professional and so passionate about what he does! I went on another tour with this company along the Cliffs of Moher, hiking from Doolin and that was awesome also! I spoke to Ollie on the phone before I booked both the trips. He was so nice and helpful and gave me a lot of information, answering all my questions. I would highly recommend this tour. And I would highly recommend taking any tour provided by Ollie’s tours! Great experience while you are touring the great country of Ireland!

Conor C is a master story telller! - This is a fantastic trip. Our tour guide Conor C was a wealth of information about the Aran Islands and Irish history. Conor is a terrific guide who makes the 9:30-2pm tour an exciting journey. We saw a 14th century castle, a 10th century sunken church, countless stone walls with stories and a shipwreck. This was a highlight of a 10 day trip!

Beautiful and entertaining tour! - Such a fun day and tour! Our guide was Phill and he was great, we loved chatting with and learning from him! We got to see all of the main sites on the Island that we probably wouldn’t have been able to find on our own and learn more about the history. The scones and tea afterwards were delicious!

Must Do Experience! - Tommy was the most amazing tour guide. Informative about the island but also about Ireland living in general. Fantastic bike ride around the island and then a stop for homemade scones & tea. Outstanding experience!

Great way to see the Arun Islands! - We enjoyed our guides and the island. It was a bit crowded with other tourists. I think there was a miscommunication with the guides as we weren’t split into 2 smaller groups which made it challenging at times. Phil was great at telling stories about the island. I would definitely recommend an e-bike as there were some hills and I would have found it hard to keep up otherwise. We were debating taking the boat to Cliffs of Mohler after the tour and Phil helped us get in the right boat to do that. Note: I did mention to the owner about the larger size group and he immediately took action so I don’t think it will happen again!
