I was absolutely unhappy about our u-pick experience. I can’t believe it cost $50 for a family of 4 just for strawberries. I only chose 2 on the reservation because only my 2 kids were picking. Your employee told me that my kids had to go out in the field by themselves!!!! How can your farm expect that as a parent? It’s absolutely absurd. I had to add my husband so he can go pick with them. I didn’t want 3 pounds of strawberries and certainly didn’t want 4. Im allergic to touching berries so I wouldn’t of touched your plants anyway. The only reason I was going was because I wanted to take pics of the fun, family experience. Your farm ruined that as I sat there on a bench while my family went to pick. Parents should not have to pay if we are not picking but wear a free wrist band that you provide at check in. Only containers that are filled are the ones you provided. That’s what check in is for. The staff was rude and acted like I was bothering them. They told me to wait on the side from 9:45 to check in at 10. Another family that came in right after me was checked in immediately. Had I not been standing by the registers, I would have gone outside for nothing. Rude! I will not be returning to pick and I will no longer purchase berries from your stand. Shame cuz we always went there. We will find somewhere else to go. Our friends asked how our experience was and I had to explain our day and your policy now. One family said they will never go. Their family of 5 would pay almost $63 for strawberries. Really? It’s a good idea that is fun for kids. Just not doing it right with your “field” prices. Moving on.
