- Reynisfjall Observation Deck - After we meet at the meeting point and the weather is in our favour to fly. We jump in our super jeep and head up on the mountain. We usually fly from Reynisfjall but if the weather conditions are better elsewhere, we might change the location for your flight. Some take-offs might include a little hiking up the hill….

If it safe to launch, your instructor will go over all safety procedures and teach you the basics of paragliding both on take-off and in the air. Your instructural flight will take about 15-20 minutes and after landing we’ll bring you back to our meeting point.

To find us, turn onto Víkurbraut from Highway No. 1 until you reach the Katla Information Center. Park in front of Skaftfellingur Museum and walk towards Smiðjan Brewery. We're in the white house on your left, facing the sea.

Incredible Experience - From start to finish this was an amazing experience! Beginning with a pulse-raising transfer to the top of the hill via their tour vehicle, myself and another solo traveler met the paragliders at the top of the hill and I instantly felt at ease with their warm welcome and clear communication. I absolutely have a fear of heights and flying, so this was an attempt to conquer my fears! I was so thankful for my guide Sammi who listened to what I was comfortable with, and eased my mind as we flew around one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. We had a safe, gorgeous, fun flight and landing. It was exhilarating and I’d absolutely do it again with this tour company. They instantly download your GoPro video/images to your phone so you leave with the best souvenir proof of your adventure. Highly recommended this activity on a tour of Iceland! Thank you, True Adventure and Sammi!

Exhilarating and relaxing at the same time - The whole experience was amazing! Our pilots made us feel safe and comfortable, and while we waited for conditions to be right we were able to see some puffins and learn about each other. The flight was awesome!!! Exhilarating and relaxing at the same time

Fantastic experience with amazing views of Vik - It was my first paragliding experience and I simply loved it. The team made me feel super comfortable and safe, so that you enjoy every minute of it. Highly recommended!!

Great Experience! - Great experience for my first time paragliding! Friendly guides and we immediately got the gopro photos and videos which was nice. It was very short though, only about 5 minutes in the air because the conditions were not that great. They called the afternoon before to see if we could go then instead because conditions were better, but unfortunately we had a long day of other excursions and driving and could not make it work.

Highlight of our Iceland trip - My wife and I had a great time. Huge thrill and memorable experience. Will be the highlight of our week in Iceland. Even though we were nervous, the guides were super experienced and everything felt safe. The location and views were spectacular.

Spectacular! - The paragliding was one of the highlights of our Iceland trip (together with the ziplining we got as part of a combo)! Everyone, ages 7-45, loved it. The views are spectacular and the guides / pilots was helpful and courteous. HIGHLY recommended!

excellent family review ( 10 years thru 73 year old!) - amazing! i have been to Iceland a few times now and this was my favorite. the guides were very professional and fun; they made me feel very safe. the views were amazing. we were with a group of 7. Initially, just 2 of us were scheduled. After watching us go everyone else booked to go and loved it.

Poor Customer Service - During our recent visit to Iceland, we were booked for a tandem paragliding flight. Due to poor weather conditions, we could not do this adventure, which is very understandable, and safety is paramount. This poor review is due to the need for customer consideration. We had driven early in the morning from Reykjavik to Vik, only to find out that the trip was canceled. The tour lead said he did not have our correct numbers (we updated his country code). He informed us that we could go out at 8 pm (weather permitting), and this worked perfectly because we would still be in the area. He said he would call or text to let us know. We did not hear a word. We tried to call, only to go to a voicemail that would not let us leave a message, and we did not receive a reply to our emails. We expected to receive a notification and information regarding a refund, but that never came. Upon returning to the States, I contacted the booking agency and secured the refund. I am sure this adventure is excellent; too bad their customer service is lacking.
