SUP in Kawahira Bay - The Blue Cave could not be reached due to bad weather, but the SUP in Kawahira Bay had a great view! The staff were very friendly and enjoyed the whole at-home experience, and I was very happy to be photographed doing yoga without permission!

We had a great day! - Morning Snorkeling I was very excited to encounter sea snakes and sea turtles. It was amazing to see beautiful coral and fish up close. In the afternoon, I did SUP in beautiful Kawahira Bay, but it was fun because I would soon be able to paddle on the board. The staff gave us a very good service because it was memorable for them to take pictures along the way and share them on their smartphones. When you come to the stone wall again, I will ask you!

Snorkel & Canoe - I did snorkeling and canoeing! I was so impressed to be able to snorkel in such a beautiful sea! It was a great memory to see sea turtles, corals and lots of colorful fish! Canoeing in the beautiful sea was more fun than I imagined and I could not stop smiling throughout. Also, the photos were very nice because they were very Instagram-friendly. I've always enjoyed looking back at the photos after I get home. Thank you very much.

10/10 - This was a very enjoyable experience and our guides Moe and Sebastian, both of whom were amazing, made sure that our safety was the top priority. I got picked up at my hotel and the day started with stand up paddling and canoeing (you chose either of the two) in Kabira Bay. We then drove back to the ferry terminal and had a lunch break for two hours (this is not paid for). In the afternoon we went to another beach for snorkelling. Unfortunately due to the big waves, the snorkelling part of the trip first got cancelled to make sure no one would get injured but the tour organisers offered the option to provide a full refund or reschedule the snorkelling part to the next day. I opted for the latter and had a really great time swimming next to the fishes by the blue cave. The blue cave itself wasn’t at its bluest on the day we went, but the animals and reefs underwater were beautiful! Thanks PiPi!

Saikou!! - We had an absolutely blast kayaking and snorkeling here. Our guides, Kota, Yuga, and Kenji were super fun and kind, and 100% were the vibe. Yuga also took the absolute best photos of us and captured such awesome moments. We couldn't thank them enough! It's an amazing way to get out on the water with cool, knowledgeable people. The water is insanely blue and the scenery is beautiful. Saikou!! The snorkeling portion was really beautiful too with the reefs and so many fish. Our guides were super knowledgeable and making sure we were okay. They also squeezed us in last minute although we missed our time slot. FYI- we went kayaking in the morning at 9 and were expecting to go snorkeling right after, but snorkeling happens in the afternoon, so we met at the same parking lot at 2pm to go snorkeling - just ask your guide about the second portion. thanks again everyone!

If you're visiting Ishigaki, you need to do this! - I had such an amazing experience with Shinobu, Misaki and Ken! It was my first time doing the SUP board and Shinobu was so helpful and patient, I wish I could do it all over again! Kabira Bay is beautiful & a must see! The Blue Cave snorkeling was a dream, the whole ecosystem is unlike anything I've seen before in my snorkeling experiences and Misaki & Ken made it so much fun, while also being informative. While I booked this solo, there was a family I was with, with 2 little kids and they made the entire experience so much fun, the kids didn't want to leave! Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Ishigaki

Book the snorkelling trip. Don’t worry about the Canoe/SUP - The company Adventure Pipi was great. I highly recommend the snorkelling part of this trip which can be booked on its own as a separate tour. We had wanted to snorkel and canoe as we loved the idea of maximising our time in the beautiful Kabira Bay. If you have never canoed or done stand up paddle boarding before, you might enjoy that part of the trip. My husband and I have canoed and done SUP before and this part of the tour at Kabira Bay was underwhelming for us. The activity was undertaken in a small area. It was slow and for a short period of time. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have bothered booking that part of the trip. But we highly recommend the snorkelling part. That was amazing!

Operator refuses service to people over 59 - Warning to my fellow mature adventurers: Although the listing does not state any age restrictions, and selected other Adventure Pipi / Port of Call tours are open to people aged 3 to 65, after booking you learn that "company policy" states they will not allow anyone over 59 on their tours. Health and experience make no difference. But toddlers are welcome. An alternative that I used, for less than the tour price, was to rent a car at the port and drive to Yonehara Beach (be sure to go at mid to high tide). I rented snorkel gear from Jellyfish, whom I highly recommend; they also provide tours. The reef is a short distance off the beach and is delightful.

Age discrimination - We booked the Kayak and Snorkeling tour weeks before but they cancelled our reservation last minutes due to our age. Even they promised to refund us it is still huge disappointment. We were strong and has been found those activities all the time. This is age discrimination and not acceptable!
