Every minute of the experience was exhilarating. - Everything was GREAT about this tour. Experiencing the livestock market and the daily life of the villagers were amazing. The best was seeing the trading of the livestock, the warm welcome upon our arrival at the village, making the traditional beads, cooking ugali, rounding up the goats and bringing them back to be milked and lastly dancing and singing with the Maasai. I recommend this experience to anyone visiting Kenya. Thanks to the tour guide Dennis who was very informative and involved in ensuring we had a great and fulfilling time.

WOW! A TRULY AMAZING EXPERIENCE - This was the most amazing tour of my trip so far! Try to go on Monday or Friday so you can experience the market where they try to sell cattle or goats and a lot going on with a lot of people everywhere. That was exceptional, but going to spend time with a Masai family Was heartwarming and actually made me feel a little emotional. This is stuff I’ve only seen on TV and getting to sing and dance with this wonderful family was a once in a lifetime experience…As well as trying to make a fire, handle baby goats, prepare food and make a quick piece of beaded jewelry. That part of the experience starts with the tribe dressing you in some authentic clothes and jewelry. If you only had time to do 1 tour- this should be it. Note- the village experience is about 2.5 hours car drive from Nairobi, just so you know but you get to see more of life here along the way. SIMON WAS EXCEPTIONAL! He speaks and understands perfect English, was SUPER friendly and nice, and made this such a perfect tour. Thank you Simon!

Fun and interesting day! Very worthwhile. - It was very interesting hearing about the Masai from Simon, our guide. He was very informative and made the 2.5 hour drive go quickly. He arranged for clean toilet breaks as well. He made sure we knew what to expect and helped us learn a few words so we could be polite to those we met. The market was very interesting but not the large market we had expected; only had livestock and one vendor. The village was also much smaller than we anticipated; basically one or two families. But they were gracious and we herded goats, dressed up, made bead items, watched the men make fire, and helped cook, before joining in with singing and dancing. It was a fascinating day! Would recommend bringing a snack, as there was no lunch break.

ONCE IN A LIFETIME, AMAZING EXPERIENCE - I had THE BEST time on this tour. Simon and Sharon (a new trainee) were amazing, I'd go for days if I had to describe how phenomenal these two were. I never write reviews, but had to make sure I did on this once in a lifetime encounter with the Maasai tribe; and with this tour operator. I 100% recommend this Maasai experience, tour company, and especially Simon, to everyone. You'd thoroughly enjoy this.

Loved Every Minure! - We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Maasai village! The people were wonderful and it was extremely interesting to see how they lived and divided their responsibilities. The visit to the goat market was truly unique, a true cultural experience. The icing on the cake was our guide, Dennis Console. He was fun to be with and very well-spoken. We spent 2 weeks in Africa and he was the gold standard for what a guide should be.
