SHALLOW WATER TRAINING: Accompanied by your instructor, head to the beach to practice the skills in 3-4 feet of water.
DIVE IN THE NATIONAL MARINE PARK: It’s time to dive! You and your instructor will gear up and take a boat to explore two dive sites, MUSA (the underwater museum) and Manchones (coral reef).
This program is how many began their diving journey. If you choose to pursue Open Water certification while you’re here, you’ll receive credit for the work completed in this program.

Our dive shop is located on Avenida Juarez 13 across from Javi's Cantina. We are located just 3 blocks north of the Ferry Terminal and one block east (on Calle Abasolo). Feel free to call or Whatsapp for help with directions.

Highly recommended - Absolutely incredible experience! These guys are awesome. Would do it every day of the trip if we could. Dani was our instructor. He was awesome. Benji, Wilbert, David, and Jessica were all rock solid.

Scuba certification - January 2025, 2 friends and I received our scuba diver certification here. The staff was amazing and made us feel comfortable. They never hesitated to answer all the questions we had. We did several drills in a controlled environment before heading out to the dives. The instructors, boat captain, deck hand, and office staff were so awesome. Highly recommended if you want to get scuba certified or have any water adventures in mind.

Highlight of our week in Cancun - My son and I did this trip and had the best time. Everyone at Aqua Adventures were so nice and accommodating. My wife booked the trip online from California while we were in Cancun and she found Jessica to be very responsive and so helpful in answering all her questions.

Do yourself a favor, book it - The water and crew were amazing! Ive dove many places, but this one for sure takes the cake. Highly recommend! We will for sure be coming back

Awesome experience - First off, Nina and the crew made our introduction to diving amazing and we felt safe. The two dive spots we dove on were amazing, the reef is so full of life that there is no way to take it all in just one day. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going to have them train us for our open water PADI program. Worth every penny, definately recommend this event for the first timer or Padi certified diver.

Fantastic first dive! - My son and I were going to try diving for the first time and were excited.
We had a fantastic experience where we got a good introduction and got tried the techniques off on low water by a super good and experienced instructor.
We then left and had two fantastic dives where we kept feeling safe.
Thank you to the whole team for giving us the best experience!

100% recommend for newbies to SCUBA. - It was amazing. First time Scuba. Great way to get exposure to scuba without total certification. Danny our instructor was great. He was fun and patient with the less experienced members of our group. We would love to buy some pictures from Benjamin, but haven’t heard back from him since our dive two weeks ago. The reef appeared very healthy even with the pressures from high volumes of tourism. Hopefully this place will continue to be protected.

Just awesome, best time on the entire trip - Danny and the team rock. Never thought I would actually dive. Perfect location, thoughtful hosts, great communication. Amazing little island with a ton of life. Wish I stayed there and not on the mainland.
Will be back for a longer stay and days of diving.

Scuba diving experience - Must try!! My husband and I wanted to give diving a try and we were not disappointed. Fantastic, fun day with a team that made sure we learned the basics, and had an excellent experience. Danny, David, and Wilbur took great care to ensure our experience was safe while introducing us to the underwater world. What an amazing experience. Ten out of ten!!

A Wonderful Place to Learn! - We had an incredible time! Neither me or my husband had ever SCUBA dived, but the instructions given were super clear, and we felt totally safe and supported throughout. Danny was an amazing teacher and guide, and everyone in the shop was so friendly and helpful! We want to get certified now, and we would 100% come back to AAED. The value was also much better compared to other offerings in the area since we got to do 2 dives at different locations, each roughly 40 minutes in length.
