GREAT experience - HIGHLY recommend! - This was such an incredible experience ... so freaking fun, and beautiful, and well worth every dollar/pesos. Kevin (our guide) and Miguel (our boat captian) were both AWESOME, and we saw so many incredible things, including a SEA TURTLE swimming right next to us. And the ceviche, margaritas, and sandwiches were so good too. DO IT! There were only 7 of us on the boat (I think a maximum of 8), and we had private attention and service. DO IT!

Snorkeling Excursion Fantastico! - Island Adventures Mexico have an awesome snorkel experience. Our guide Kevin and CaptainTheo were wonderful. Kevin made sure we had a fantastic trip and saw more species of fish than some of our dive trips.

Fantastic Isla Mujeres Tour - My family and I had a fantastic time on the this experience. The snorkeling was incredible, beautiful sea creatures, clear waters, and an underground museum. The guides, Uriel and the Captain of the boat, were friendly and knowledgeable, and our small group made the experience feel special. The boat was clean, and the whole experience was well-organized. They even had Ceviche and margaritas for us to enjoy. They also took videos and pictures of us! I recommend getting there on time and using the restroom before hand so you don't lose a minute. Highly recommend this tour if you want a great time on Isla Mujeres!

Unforgettable - Unforgettable experience, worth the money spent! We went on a semi-private tour with four other people at 8:30 in the morning. The tour includes 4 stops, each unique in its own way, as well as water, margaritas, sandwiches and and ceviche by boat upon return to the pier. It was the first snorkeling experience and it was unforgettable. Many thanks to Kevin our Guide and Captain Diego. The boys were very nice even when I suffered from seasickness. Manuela and Daniele

Snorkeling with colorful fish, starfish, and a sea turtle - We had a wonderful snorkeling trip around Isla Mujeres! Kevin and Captain Diego were both fun and wonderful guide. This was our first time snorkeling and they explained all of the equipment and tips on how to get the best experience. We went to 3 spots and saw beautiful fish, starfish, and even a sea turtle! Some tips for people traveling: We came from a resort in Playa Mujeres and needed a taxi to get to the UltraMar Ferry. Once we got to Isla Mujeres, it was a short walk to the meeting spot. We recommend bringing a wet bag and applying sunscreen beforehand since you can't do this on the boat (to protect the reef). This excursion was a great deal and we will definitely come back again next time we are here!

Fantastic Snorkeling Experience - This was our first Excursion, and boy was it a fun one. We had a great time doing the snorkeling tour. There was only 8 of us so it was a small group which I really liked. We visited 4 sites with the last one being the underwater museum which was fantastic. We saw a lot of beautiful fish snorkeling, but the best part was the underwater museum - human status. Kevin was our main guide and Captain Ernesto steered the ship, they were both great! Very attentive and accommodating. The margaritas and ceviche (which Ernesto made!) were delicious. Pepe our driver was very friendly and informative. Everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend especially if you're look! Paul

It Was Ok - While we had an enjoyable time there are some things I wish I'd known before booking: 1. We were really only in the water for about 45min-1hour. It took almost an hour just to complete check in and get on our boat. 2. There is an added $5 pp dock fee that is not included in the price. 3. While snorkeling isn't "hard", the boat they used on our tour required dexterity, balance and strength to exit and re-enter. These aren't walk-off boats with submerged ladders. You will need to jump off the boat from higher up and climb a ladder back over the ledge.

Fun experience - Great experience overall and bonus that it was a small group of 8. I highly recommend the semi private option. Koodos to our guide Jorge, it was his first tour and he did great! The actual tour is 2hrs not 3 as advertised and we were late getting started!

I don't recommend it. - We went as a couple, my boyfriend felt dizzy and the Guide was not kind to him, he looked upset and while he provided a float to throw him through the water, he did it unwillingly, he did not really care for the welfare of my boyfriend. Regarding the stops, they are 4 stops in total, and they allow you 20-25 minutes in each, the truth is that for me it was a waste of time to get on and off the boat so many times as that generates dizziness and in the end there was not much difference between the places to snorkel, almost in all you see few fish and nothing else. I don't know if it was because of the time I went (August) or if it's always like that. The statue museum doesn't attract much attention. I had a good time anyway because I love the sea and snorkeling but it was really not worth this tour nor would I recommend it. The captain of the boat was a gentleman who was cool, with him is not the complaint but with the Guide.
