Islamabad – Gilgit – Hunza
Gilgit - Take a scenic 1-hour flight from Islamabad Airport to Gilgit, where you can admire the breathtaking views of valleys and towering mountain peaks. En route to Hunza, there will be a brief stop at the historic Berano suspension bridge and the Danyor tunnel. Photography stops include the collision point of two tectonic plates, the ancient Silk Route viewpoint, and the Rakaposhi viewpoint. As we travel through the Nagar and Hunza valleys, we will observe village life. Check into the hotel in Karimabad and enjoy some leisure time. In the evening, take a walk along Samarqand Kohl (water channel) through the apricot orchards and immerse yourself in the local culture. We will drive to Dongo Das (a 20-minute drive) for nighttime stargazing. Relish your time under the starry sky before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

If the flight is canceled due to weather, travel from Islamabad via the Karakoram Highway with brief stops at various tourist attractions.
Karimabad – Altit – Duikar
Altit Fort - Spend a full day in Hunza visiting the 800-year-old Baltit Fort (a 30-minute walk), shopping at Karimabad Bazaar for handicrafts, gemstones, and dry fruits, exploring the 900-year-old Altit Fort, and enjoying a traditional lunch at Kha Basi Café (operated by Serena Hotels and managed by local women). After lunch, visit the music school in Altit, where local children learn and perform traditional music (guests can also try playing regional musical instruments). Later, visit Ganish village, the oldest settlement in Hunza, and a local family home. Drive to Duikar (2800 m) to witness a stunning sunset. After a 15-minute scenic hike, reach one of the world’s best sunset viewpoints, offering a panoramic view of the Hunza and Nagar valleys and the majestic views of seven mountain peaks over 7000m. Return to the hotel in Karimabad for the night.

Karimabad – Khanabad – Gilgit
Gilgit - Travel to Khanabad village in lower Hunza and spend the day experiencing village life with a host family. Engage in daily activities with the villagers, visit fruit orchards, stroll through the streets, meet locals including artisans and historians, and enjoy a traditional lunch with the host family. Meditation or yoga sessions are also available in the village. Return to Gilgit in the afternoon and visit the Kargah Buddha (7th-century Buddha).
Gilgit – Islamabad
Gilgit - Fly from Gilgit to Islamabad (a 1-hour scenic flight). Transfer to the hotel and enjoy sightseeing after lunch.

Gilgit - If flights are canceled due to weather, travel to Islamabad by road. If flying from Gilgit to Islamabad, enjoy sightseeing in the capital, or your leader will provide options for the day.
