Yellowstone wildlife - Had our family of 7 on a wildlife tour of Yellowstone with Tied to Nature. Our guide, Brian, was very knowledgeable about the park and its wildlife and has a calming and kind personality. He spent time teaching us about the different places we were passing through as we made it to our ultimate destination of Lamar Valley. We saw a ton of animals including elk, a grizzly bear, a black bear, a black wolf, plenty of bison, elk, sheep, osprey and a pair of bald eagles. What makes a trip like this enjoyable is that you can enjoy the scenery and knowledge of a professional who knows the park and where to look for animals. He also has spotting scopes and a phone connector to use for longer distance viewing/recording. Make sure you get some videos and pictures like that. They are way better than you will get with your phone or even a decent SLR. Final note. Brian suggested we follow him in to Madison Junction because we planned to go see more of the park after our tour ended. That saved us at least 45 min of driving back and forth to West Yellowstone and we were able to head down to see many of the thermal features in and around Old Faithful to wrap up our afternoon. Great trip - thanks Brian! Highly recommend.

Takes your experience to the next level!!! - Brian was so personable and we immediately felt like we were traveling with an old friend. He was very knowledgeable about the park and the history. Brian put us on all the animals we wanted to see. Many of these animals were well camouflaged in their environment and without his expertise we would not have known they were there. If you are wondering if it is worth the money, it absolutely is. I witnessed some other people on wildlife tours that were not getting the experience were and felt bad for them. We really lucked out choosing Tied to Nature. Made our trip so special. Thanks Brian!

Must Do Yellowstone Tour - Absolutely a must do tour! Our guides Jared and Scott were so knowledgeable about Yellowstone history and where to find bears, wolves, big horn sheep…etc…pretty much saw everything. Wouldn’t have known where or what to look for otherwise. A must do to truly appreciate this amazing natural resource.

If you are going to pay for a guide service choose Adam and Tied to Nature! - Adam was by far the best guide we have ever had. Very informative, knowledgeable and helpful! We were able to see wildlife and parts of the park we wouldn’t have thought of. We saw a pack of wolves, red fox, eagles and so much more! If you are going to pay for a guide in YNP, choose Adam and Tied to nature.

Disappointing but still good - Trying to give a fair and balanced review. The reason we booked this tour was to see wolves, bears, and moose. We saw none of those. We are from central Pa. We can see black bear, elk, coyote, and eagles here or close by. We wanted to see what we can’t see around home. In addition we had already seen vast herds of buffalo and prong horn on our own. We knew there was no guarantee to see a bear, a moose or a wolf. But, we were pretty hopeful to see at least one of the three. I think it would be better if when Viator took a reservation they asked what the customer wanted to see. Our guide told us during our tour that the chances of seeing a bear are much better in the spring and that there aren’t many moose in the park since the return of the wolves. Wish I had known that before I booked the tour. Our guide was very nice. He really, really tried to spot wildlife for us. We definitely did see animals that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise—he spotted an eagle and a coyote. He really tried to find us a mountain goat. He tried to find a bear as well. He took us where they had been seen recently. We would not have gone to the Lamar valley if we had not been with a guide. It was spectacular, and there were just so, so many buffalo. We also saw herds of antelope. I don’t regret the tour. We enjoyed it. BUT had I known the unlikelihood of seeing either wolves, bear, or moose on this tour at this time, I wouldn’t have booked in the first place.
