A no pacing fishing trip with lunch! - We appreciated the good communication regarding the trip and the amazing guide service. At first the weather was predicted to be too windy and the host reached out immediately to try to make alternate plans. We had such a great time and the areas we visited were beautiful. We were amazed at the tasty lunch he cooked up with the fish we caught plus pasta with shrimp, Greek salad and fresh bread along with drinks. We would highly recommend this trip and this beautiful island.

Great afternoon trip out with excellent dinner! - Wonderful afternoon with Dimitri and a family group. Very easy to book! And plenty of time to swim and chill out while your catch is cooked by Dimitri! He answered all my questions about fish preparation and was a generally lovely experience. Hydra can be very hot on this day 35degrees, so we opted for the 4pm till 8pm - which was perfect and still hot enough to swim and relax. Beer and wine were given with snorkel kit as well, which was great! Thanks for the fun afternoon out. Highly recommend!

A Great Day on the Water - My wife and I had a great time fishing with Dimitris. Kathrin was easy to book with and they worked us into their schedule on short notice. Dimitris shifted the trip timing a bit to get better weather on a windy day. Pulling up the long lines was exciting - we even got an eel. And then we capped it off with fishing on a gorgeous beach while Dimitris made dinner. Dimitris is right- he's a really good cook. The stew - which included our eel along with fresh mussels and shrimp - tasted so fresh and the Greek salad complemented it nicely. It was a perfect way to spend the day on Hydra. I highly recommend it!

Gourmet fishing boat with the friendliest captain on board - The day on what is probably the most beautiful fishing boat with Dimitri and his son Manolis was one of the highlights on Hydra. The booking with his wife Kathrin worked out fantastically, the friendly nature of the whole family was a joy and the trip with fishing line in hand and sailing around the small island was a real dream. The highlight was the delicious, freshly prepared meal on the boat in a small bay on a remote beach. What Dimitri conjured up in his galley was a culinary delight of a special kind. Fish could not be prepared fresher and more authentically. The hospitality left nothing to be desired and we were spoiled with everything that the Greek sea and land had to offer. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this uniquely beautiful and unforgettable experience and hope to be able to repeat it on a future visit. We can only recommend that everyone experience this on an original Greek fishing boat. The Weiss family

Fishing adventure - This is not only a fishing trip but a chance to immerse yourself into Greek culture. The long lines were fun to watch and kept my children entertained. The snorkeling and food were icing on the cake. We can’t thank hydra fishing enough for a wonderful time. I

Highlight of our trip - First, I am sorry that this review is so very delayed. Second, I don't quite have the words to adequately express how absolutely wonderful our excursion with Dimitris was. It was the highlight of our Greek holiday and I have such wonderful memories that will stay with me forever. The trip was so easy to book through Kathrin, who was so lovely to communicate with. The outing gave us a perspective of Idra we wouldn't have otherwise experienced. My second favorite part was learning from Dimitris about the local fish species. My first favorite part was dining on the deliciously prepared fresh catches that Dimitris prepared for us. I still think about that meal! My photos could not possibly relay how special this experience was!

An amazing fishing trip and feast! - We had a beautiful day on the water with Captain Dimitri and an incredible meal from the catch, this was a highlight of our trip to Greece and I highly recommend it!!

Not a real fishing experience - Unfortunately there is no fishing with a fishing rod. I was hoping to actually catch fish, but you just helped the captain pull up a net. Then the captain took you to the beach while he cooked up the fish. It was nice and everyone is friendly, just not the trip I was looking for
