Don’t miss!!!!! - We loved the experience which was genuine and relaxing. Dimitri is such a good person that loves his job and his island. He cooked us a pasta with calamari , fried fish just caught and Greek salad couldn’t ask for more.! Highly recommend the experience thank you 💫

Excellent Experience. Do not miss!! - We had the most amazing day off the coast of Hydra! A highlight of our trip! The fishing experience included swimming and an amazing lunch prepared right on the boat with the fish caught. Our guide was excellent: knowledgable and very friendly. Make sure to include this day excursion when you go to Hydra! The best!

Awesome Adventure on the Water - Dimitris provided an amazing meal, regional information and an opportunity for snorkeling in the beautiful waters! We enjoyed the pleasant conversation and learning about Hydra, the fishing industry and Greek life. The delicious lunch consisted of Greek Salad (with olive oil from his own trees), fish soup, fresh fillets, bread and drinks! It was so much more than we expected!

A no pacing fishing trip with lunch! - We appreciated the good communication regarding the trip and the amazing guide service. At first the weather was predicted to be too windy and the host reached out immediately to try to make alternate plans. We had such a great time and the areas we visited were beautiful. We were amazed at the tasty lunch he cooked up with the fish we caught plus pasta with shrimp, Greek salad and fresh bread along with drinks. We would highly recommend this trip and this beautiful island.

Great afternoon trip out with excellent dinner! - Wonderful afternoon with Dimitri and a family group. Very easy to book! And plenty of time to swim and chill out while your catch is cooked by Dimitri! He answered all my questions about fish preparation and was a generally lovely experience. Hydra can be very hot on this day 35degrees, so we opted for the 4pm till 8pm - which was perfect and still hot enough to swim and relax. Beer and wine were given with snorkel kit as well, which was great! Thanks for the fun afternoon out. Highly recommend!

Hydra Fishing Experience from a basque cohntry couple - Super amazing Experience. Dimitri was the Best captain, fisherman advisor, besides a master cook. Go ahead do not even think twice.

A Great Day on the Water - My wife and I had a great time fishing with Dimitris. Kathrin was easy to book with and they worked us into their schedule on short notice. Dimitris shifted the trip timing a bit to get better weather on a windy day. Pulling up the long lines was exciting - we even got an eel. And then we capped it off with fishing on a gorgeous beach while Dimitris made dinner. Dimitris is right- he's a really good cook. The stew - which included our eel along with fresh mussels and shrimp - tasted so fresh and the Greek salad complemented it nicely. It was a perfect way to spend the day on Hydra. I highly recommend it!

Overrated and overpriced - This is not what it’s supposed to be. Yes, it’s a fishing “experience” if you have the.patience to wait for Captain Dimitri to check the 400 hooks he baited the day before. The catch was meagre - four small fish and one eel. After 90 minutes, we then headed to a bay where Dimitri had to bargain with a luxury catamaran for a berth. The landing was littered with rubbish and the established ladder was covered with slime. The captain did produce a usable entry ladder which allowed access to the water. Dimitri served up the fish he caught yesterday (not today) along with a very average pasta. The fish was delicious as was the Greek salad. We then headed back to Hydra. All up, it was an interesting experience but very overpriced for a swim, lunch and a few beers.

Not a real fishing experience - Unfortunately there is no fishing with a fishing rod. I was hoping to actually catch fish, but you just helped the captain pull up a net. Then the captain took you to the beach while he cooked up the fish. It was nice and everyone is friendly, just not the trip I was looking for
