Istanbul City Tour - Izmit

Izmit - Depart from the hotel at 8:30 am for the Istanbul City Tour. “TOPKAPI PALACE” was the grand palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The palace boasts a stunning collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain. It also houses robes worn by the sultans and their families, the renowned jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, and the Holy Mantle, which enshrines relics of the Prophet Mohammed.
Next, visit the “SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE” located across from St. Sophia. Built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, it is known as the “BLUE MOSQUE” due to its magnificent interior adorned with blue Iznik tiles. Outside the Blue Mosque is the “HIPPODROME,” the ancient site of chariot races and entertainment. The Hippodrome features three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. After a delightful lunch break, head to the Grand Spice Bazaar for shopping.
After the tour, depart for Izmit. Overnight stay in Izmit.

Izmit Tour – Abant Lake and Ankara

Ankara - After breakfast, check out and depart for Izmit city center with All Terrain Vehicles to explore the heart of the Izmit plateaus. Following the Izmit city tour, depart for Abant Lake, arguably the most famous lake in Turkey. The lake is at the end of a 22 km drive. A seven-kilometer walk around the lake offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the scenery. Those who prefer not to walk can ride horseback or take a horse cart tour. Abant Lake is surrounded by pine trees. After lunch, depart for Ankara. Overnight stay in Ankara.

Cappadocia - After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Sivas. Visit Ottoman highlights such as Meydan Mosque and Şems-i Sivasî Tomb, İhramcızade Cultural and Art House, Subaşı Kervansarayı, and Taşhan Kervansarayı. After the Sivas tour, depart for Cappadocia.

Cappadocia Underground City & Goreme Open Air Museum

Cappadocia - You will be picked up at approximately 9:30 am and driven to Ozkonak Underground City, one of the best-preserved underground cities in Cappadocia. Then visit Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia. After Uchisar, visit Goreme Open Air Museum, the heart of Cappadocia, famous for frescoes dating to the 10th century depicting the life of Jesus Christ and monks. Next, stop at Cavusin, an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. After Cavusin, enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Avanos. Post-lunch, visit a pottery workshop to see pottery-making. Then proceed to Pasabagi to view three-headed fairy chimneys. After Pasabagi, visit another workshop to see Cappadocian handwoven carpets and kilims. Next, explore Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, where natural rock formations resemble animals. Then head to a wine shop in Urgup for wine tasting. The last stop is Three Beauties, three beautiful fairy chimneys with hats, symbolizing Cappadocia. The tour concludes at approximately 6:00 pm, and you will be returned to your hotel. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
