Erdim the Great and his marvelous Turkey Tour - Review: A Captivating Journey Through Turkey with Erdim Travel My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing an extraordinary 5-day tour of Turkey with Erdim Travel. Led by the charming and knowledgeable Erdim, this tour offered a profound exploration of Istanbul's historical splendor and Cappadocia's surreal landscapes. Erdim Travel’s expertise and attention to detail made this an unforgettable journey. Day 2: Istanbul Highlights and Flight to Cappadocia The second day of the tour was a whirlwind of Istanbul’s most iconic sites, beginning at 09:30 am. Our guide’s depth of knowledge brought the city’s rich history to life, starting with a visit to the Topkapi Palace. This former residence of Ottoman sultans is a treasure trove of intricate architecture and exquisite artifacts, offering stunning views of the Istanbul skyline. Next, we stepped inside the enchanting Blue Mosque, renowned for its magnificent blue tiles and serene atmosphere. The architectural grandeur of this mosque is a testament to the artistry of the Ottoman era. A short walk brought us to the Hippodrome, once the heart of Byzantine entertainment and chariot races. The ancient obelisks and monuments here tell tales of a city that has been at the crossroads of civilizations for centuries. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Hagia Sophia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that seamlessly blends Byzantine and Islamic influences. Its impressive domes and breathtaking mosaics left us in awe. Our final stop in Istanbul was the bustling Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets. Navigating its labyrinthine alleys, we were captivated by the vibrant stalls offering a plethora of Turkish treasures. Later, we were efficiently transferred to Istanbul Airport for our flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and taken to our chosen Cave Hotel, where we would spend the night. Hotel Info: Cave Hotel Erdim Travel also offers the option to stay in a traditional Cave Hotel, which we highly recommend for an authentic experience. The hotel room was beautifully designed with Turkish lacquer wear and art work, it was cool in temperature but equipped with all the modern amenities like A/C and Cable TV. Just beautifully done, the staff was helpful and available if we needed anything. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. In Cappadocia, we took a breathtaking hot air balloon ride that was the thing of post cards. Then, the knowledgeable Erdim guided us to a wonderful rooftop lunch. Erdim’s Exceptional Guidance What truly set this tour apart was Erdim himself. His charming personality and enthusiasm for sharing his homeland’s rich history and culture were infectious. As a PhD candidate with an extensive background in Turkish history, Erdim provided deep insights into every site we visited, offering context and stories that enriched our understanding and appreciation of the places we explored. Erdim’s knowledge of local vendors and customs was particularly impressive. In the Grand Bazaar, he guided us to the best stalls, where we found high-quality goods and enjoyed warm interactions with local artisans. His ability to navigate this bustling market and connect us with the right vendors added a personal touch to our shopping experience. Erdim’s efforts went above and beyond the typical duties of a tour guide. Whether it was arranging a last-minute request to visit a specific site, sharing hidden gems that weren’t on the official itinerary, or simply ensuring that my wife and I felt comfortable and engaged, his dedication was evident. He even took the time to recommend local restaurants and cafes, where we savored some of the best cuisine Turkey has to offer.   Conclusion Erdim Travel’s 5-day tour is a masterclass in showcasing the best of Turkey. From the historic heart of Istanbul to the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia, every moment was meticulously planned and executed. Our guide’s expertise, combined with the comfort and convenience provided by Erdim Travel, made this a journey of a lifetime. Whether you are a history buff, a culture enthusiast, or simply a traveler seeking new adventures, this tour is sure to exceed your expectations. Erdim’s personal touch, profound knowledge, and above-and-beyond efforts truly made this an exceptional travel experience. Happily submitted, Mrs. Tricia and Mr. Philippe Lindsey Los Angeles, CA

Top Notched Tour! A must do! Pick Sedar as your tour guide! - Not sure if my Turco Travel tour was listed in the options. But it was definitely Turco Travel and our tour guide was Sedar! It was an amazing trip with my sisters, niece and duaghter! Sedar was like a walking history book on Turkey which I loved and he took really good care of us as we traveled. Sedar was so amazing that at the end of the trip it felt like saying good bye to a family member. The accommodations were superb and truly a delight. We experienced such a wide variety of things from food, culture and crafts. Literally the best breakfast buffets in the world and delicious coffee!

A fantastic stress free experience with the best guide ever. - Just completed a 8 D/9N trip to Turkey with my family. We had an amazing time and it is easily in my top 2 favorite vacations of my life. We chose to use a tour company because of the size of our group (5) and desire for it to be uncomplicated. Turco Travel designed a smooth trip. We were given video directions of where to meet or amazing guide Serdar Özyilmaz. After that we didn’t worry about anything. He is professional and has a great depth of knowledge in the history of Turkey especially but well educated in history of the world. He is a lot of fun to talk to and offered lots of insights into Turkish culture. A day or two into the trip and Serdar had become our good friend. Tour was well organized and heavy walking days were balanced by more relaxed days. Hotels were great and Turkish food is simply delicious butTurkish breakfast will blow your mind!
