Magnificent visit - but needs better instructions! - The Hagia Sophia is a must for anyone visiting Istanbul. Just magnificent! BUT if your booking via this site, and it says meet outside the museum, that’s not correct. You need to go to the Trips & Tours cabin, to the left of the entrance to the Topkapi Palace. It’s easy when you know how: Walk to the palace up the right hand side of the Hagia Sophia, past the ticket machines and ticket counter queue (on the right), and HS entrance queue on the left. With the main palace entrance in front of you, T&T cabin is on the left, on a small platform with a small cafe. Look for guys with T&T flags. Allow yourself at least 15 minutes to negotiate this! This info would have saved us a lot of stress!

You skip the line to the ticket office, but that's it. Nothing else that they advertise is included. - Ok, you do skip the line, but all that "orientation by a licensed guide" is BS. When we showed up, they just told us that we don't need a guide. They gave us tea in paper cups only when I demanded it. Also, they only gave me the address of the meeting point (Topkapi Cafe) when I reached out to them myself via WhatsApp. This information was not included in any of the emails. The only reason I still don't regret buying it is because my mom cannot stand for a long time, so any way to skip the line is good. If I was by myself or with younger friends, I probably would not have bothered buying it.

Worth it if you’re on a strict time schedule - I booked a tour at 4pm wanting to avoid the heavy crowds but to be honest I shouldn’t have bothered. You can get into the mosque no bother at this time and an hour is more than enough to complete the audio tour. Do your homework before going (head & shoulder covering/scarf and below the knee skirt/shorts) otherwise you’ll have to purchase prior entry. Bring your own headphones too, the audio tour is via QR code

The process requires a phiysical tix to get in - Please remember when you get there, you will need to find the online booth that is around the corner of the entrance to get the actual tickets. It was very confusing because this purchase does NOT give you the actual tix as most other advance tix. Also, when you ask about it at the ticket office, they will try very hard to sell you a new ticket instead of telling about the booth.

Beautiful but expensive - It was beautiful but half of it is closed and it's very expensive. It only takes 20 minutes to walk around. The blue mosque is far more impressive and it's free!

Not with the $$’s visit The Blue Mosque - With the skip the line tickets the people at the door still tell you to line up! I rang Trip Advisor & they advised me to get a paper ticket from a ticket kiosk. This was quite a quick process. We then just pushed in to the line- as it was about 1 km long. Security check & then yelled d at to put on a head cover. No signs but i had one. Some women just wearing bucket hats! Once inside you can only look at the mosque from above in a gallery. There are a couple of other rooms with Christian mosaics. Then outside & out the gate. You can apparently only go in the mosque if you are a practicing Muslim. Definitely not worth $60. The Blue Mosque much better and free and the Hagia Sophia Museum across the way is also good. I would not bother as the lines & confusion are ridiculous.

Dissapointed in the tour organisation - We came to the tour office as instructed. We showed them our tickets. They gave us paper tickets and told us to go to the mosque. We skipped no lines and never saw our guide. The only information we got was from the brief descriptions inside the mosque. It waluld'be been much better experience if we had a proper guide as per description.

Frustrated in Hagia Sophia - Skip-the-line ticket unnecessary because there is only one line on site. So on site, either 1 person queues and the other will buy tickets at the ticket office, or you buy from the 1 guide on site who comes to you, it will be a little more expensive but you will not queue . Disappointed by the discovery of this exceptional monument because it was confined to the upper gallery without being able to even lean over to see the lower space reserved for Muslims and prayer. So go next door to the Blue Mosque: it is free (with the possibility of a donation on exit), if you have forgotten the correct outfit required, it will be lent to you and not sold like at Ste Sophie, access to all the space and it is truly splendid. Good visit.

Don’t waste your money - VERY POOR- The meeting place on the ticket is listed as being in the right hand side of the museum! No one ever showed up! I talked to another companies tour guide and he called and found out the actual meeting place is on the right hand side of the Hagia Sophia entrence. By the time we got there it was 10:15! The guide had already left! We got no history tour, no tea and the confusion from your instructions made for a very stressful situation! I have a hard time believing your company is recommending by trip advisor.
