Best tour of our holiday! - I would recommend doing this tour at the start of your trip. We learned so much about the food and culture of the city, plus our guide Furkan was so helpful in answering all of our many questions and giving suggestions for the rest of our stay in Istanbul. The food was absolutely amazing with lots of variety. 10 out of 10 experience. We were quite full by the end, but all the walking helped!

Great way to kick off your stay at Istanbul - Our guide was Derya. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She selected just the right selection of foods and spots for casual drinks, tea, local food for us and patiently answered our questions of where to visit, where to buy stuff etc. Time just flew with her. It was as if we were visiting old friend first time on Istanbul. Her hospitality was fantastic. I would recommend anyone new to Istanbul to book the tour as it’s great way to start off your visit.

Amazing - Our guide Derya was just amazing!!! It felt like we were exploring the local joints with a friend. She went above and beyond by taking us to places we wanted to see. She never rushed us from one place to another. She even planned our renaming stay for Istanbul. We came back to our hotel so satisfied. Our trip wouldn’t have been so enjoyable if he hadn’t met her!!

Food Tour Derya - Derya was so amazing and accommodating to my family and I during the food tour. She became like a friend to us, and wanted us to enjoy our time. She helped us not only try new foods, but explore the city more while accommodating our diet restrictions. Highly recommend her for a food tour!

Excellent tour - We came to Istanbul three couples and since we had a short time to be in Istanbul we took Furkan to be our guide. He spent with us eight hours taking us to various places by walk, using the funiculare, the tram and the fairy. First of all he’s very kind, nice, has a lot of knowledge, talks English fluently. He did everything he could to make us pleased. We had a great time and would happily join one of Furkan’s tours once we come to Istanbul again. Thank you Furkan🙏😃

Furkan makes Istanbul better. Book this tour. - We booked this tour on the last leg of our honeymoon. He met us in the hotel and we walked the streets all day. Saw everything my Husband wanted to see and we had a great day just chatting. There is no easier way to be spoon fed this beautiful place!

History, culture, food and human interaction - It was fantastic to discover and explore the amazing Hagia Sofia, The Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar guided by Furkan, who is incredibly well-informed on the highlights of the old city. We had a pleasant lunch and coffee break with stories about everyday life in Istanbul :). I definitely recommend this tour, and I look forward to other trips to Istanbul to discover more beautiful places.

50 yo Couple: BIG Furkan Fans! - We are planners but when plans changed this 50-something yo couple turned to TripAdvisor to help find a last minute night time layover private walking 🚶tour of İstanbul 🕌. Called Furkan on WhatsApp and tho he was exhausted from just finishing an all day tour he accepted us. When we got in the taxi 🚕 from our TAV Airport ✈️ Hotel, I shared my live location with him on WhatsApp and when he noticed the taxi going the wrong direction he called me and spoke to the driver to set him straight. Now THAT’S service in 2018 & we haven’t even gotten to the point of what an awesome 👏 tour we got 😎. See the 📸 pix for proof! The guy just knows his İstanbul history, points out honest shortcomings, little known truths, knows where the photo ops are and ❤️ loves taking pictures for you. Oh & his English is great 👍! We’d highly recommended him!
