• Rumeli Fortress - Your guide will meet you at your accommodation and take you to Rumeli Fortress for breakfast at one of Istanbul’s top local cafes. Here, you can enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast with dishes like Turkish menemen, sucuklu omelet, kaymak, and honey.
• Karakoy Rihtim - Following breakfast, we’ll head to Karakoy to explore its vibrant streets. We’ll pause for a cup of tea or coffee and taste some of the freshest baklava in Istanbul, possibly even the world.
• Kadikoy Carsisi - Next, we’ll take a ferry from Istanbul’s European side to the Asian side, arriving in Kadikoy (historically known as Kalkedon, meaning “the city of the blind”). Here, you can sample stuffed mussels or, if you’re feeling adventurous, try a kokorec sandwich, a popular street food made from lamb intestines.
• Kadıköy - Our final stop is a family-run winery where you’ll have the chance to taste three glasses of local wines paired with regional cheeses.
