Excellent tour! Perfect day. - Excellent!!! This is the tour to book. Our guide peri was fantastic! Enthusiastic, super knowledgeable, and very easy and flexible to work with. She matched our pace and took us to all the spots we wanted to see and more. We were picked up by her driver right at the cruise port. She was waiting right at the exit, and dropped us off after a fantastic day! Our best tour experience yet.

Amazing experience of Sultanahmet - This tour was an absolute delight. Our guide, Billura, was not only knowledgeable, sharing rich details about each site, but also incredibly attentive to our group's pace, ensuring a comfortable and personalized experience. The cherry on top was the ability to bypass the queues at popular attractions like the Hagia Sophia, making our visit both efficient and more enjoyable. It's a premium experience I'd highly recommend for anyone wanting to delve deep into the history and beauty of Istanbul's old city without the hassle of long lines.

Best Walking Tour of Istanbul - Our guide Cicek was phenomenal! She guided us through both the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia giving details and stories we would never have known without her expertise. Later she guided us through the Grand Bazar and led us to the best shops.

Istanbul highlights - I generally don’t do guided tours, but I’m glad I did this time. It was very nice to hear the history of each location visited and added personal touches. The hotel pick-up and drop-off were especially helpful.

BUYER Beware of the Internal Economic/Political unrest! - Everyone was looking forward to this tour and unfortunately we did not do much research on the economic/political unrest in the area. Sadly, there is a great imbalance in the inflation for products/goods and wages.. We were told by our tour guide that average monthly wage in Istanbul was about $800 euro yet when we went to the lunch establishment for a simple Kabob, hummus, pita for 3 people with no drinks it was $280 euro !! You can feel the desperation to gouge Tourist while they are in the country for every cent that they can get away with.. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt terrible to be taken advantage of by the tour company steering us to this ridiculously priced meal and not being transparent about the food cost that the tourist pay. Clearly, this is a gross overcharge game that everyone was in on accept the tourist. We paid the bill and expressed our disappointment in this practice and informed our tour guide that it is an awful impression on their country to take advantage of tourist in this fashion. I was just in NY city and paid half that at a Italian Gnoccheria in East Village .. this was a complete exploitation by the restaurant and tour company (who knew all the staff when we arrived and I'm certain got a cut of the profit by steering the tourist here.). This experience not to mention the tour redirected us to a rug shop that wasn't on the agenda to sit through what seemed like a "time share presentation" that ended with "what rug would you like?"!.. Ummm , I never wanted a rug , why are we even here.. again a very odd and desperate attempt to capture tourist dollars by being put through an uncomfortable awkward experience that leaves you wondering how you ended up in this position. I was refunded my money for the tour but not the exploitation of the lunch meal. Buyer please beware of the desperate and shameless attempts to gouge tourist at every opportunity. We did not finish our tour and returned to the cruise ship after an overpriced lunch, odd "time share" rug presentation and an aggressive rude Grand Bazaar shopping experience. I am sad that Turkey did not show it's best side to us and hope others have a better experience.
