A must to do especially if you are limited on time in Istanbul. - Where to begin. We only had 48hrs in Istanbul and thought we must do a tour guide. We were lucky to have had Hakan. A young very knowledgeable guy whom made the hours spent together very enjoyable. His attention to detail was very appreciated and we learnt so much. Skipping the queues in the heat was definitely an added bonus. We thoroughly recommend booking this one and will be telling our friends to do so to when they come to Istanbul

Istanbul best tour - Baris was a very intelligent, knowledgeable guide for our personal walking tour of Istanbul. He showed us beautiful places in a very crowded metropolis with ease. He gave us some great recommendations for lunch, aites and shopping. We would def recommend this two-on-one guide. Istanbul can be very confusing, but he made it effortless.

Private Walking Instanbul Excursion - My husband and I recently took the Istanbul walking tour, and it was an incredible experience! Our tour guide, AJ, was exceptional. Her deep knowledge of Istanbul’s history and culture, combined with her engaging storytelling, made the tour both informative and entertaining. She took my husband that is a fire fighter to a fire station that made his day.

Good but ……………., - Tour was good and would recommend although you still need to purchase entry fees and would recommend booking them in advance. Very disappointed that the agent called day before to recommend a private transfer which they said would be needed (it wasn’t) wasted 120$ and waited 40 mins in the rain to be picked up from the final location to be taken back to our hotel. Tram and taxi easy to use and a fraction of the price. All the sights are in one location and walking distance from one another.

Save your money - Our guide met us at the port and was plenty friendly. We made our way to the Sultanahmet district where we walked around and he gave insightful commentary. We walked around the Hagia Sofia, but he scoffed at the line and we didn't try to go in. If you buy online tickets, the line is much shorter. We went to the blue mosque. Afterwards, we were offered a stop for Turkish coffee. Unbeknownst to us, this was code for "let me take you to the basement of this expensive leather jacket store and subject you to the most excruciatingly awkward 2 on 2 fashion show where they'll push you to try things on and then eventually offer you some coffee." When we made it out of there, we were told we were going to a cistern, assuming it was the Basilica cistern from the listing. Nope. That line was "too long and overrated." Instead, he took us to a much smaller cistern and wouldn't ya know, it just happened to be his good buddy's rug store where they give their own version of a fashion show. We then went to eat and on to the Bazaar, which we kinda rushed through due to the aforementioned experiences. He took us back to the port. Honestly, save your money and time and just walk around yourself. These sights are close together and easy to navigate. Our small amount of time in Istanbul was wasted. Luckily, we had most of the next day to see the things we missed from this tour.
