Highlights
  • Galata Koprusu - Galata Bridge is one of Istanbul’s most famous bridges, that spans the Golden Horn. The bridge was built during the reign of Sultan Abdulmejid II. It was made of wood, but it was restored and renewed repeatedly until another parallel bridge was built in 1987. Meanwhile, a fire broke out in the bridge, so some undamaged wooden boards were moved to land. It is a destination for sea lovers for meditating on the natural beauty of the sea. It is called the awake bridge as lights keep shining associated with sea fans’ traffic.
  • Blue Mosque - Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Mosque - Camii) built during the reign of Sultan Ahmet I during 1609-1616. It is the only mosque in Turkey with six minarets. Due to its magnificent hand-dyed blue, green and white Iznik tiles it has been named the “Blue Mosque” by Europeans. The central dome is 43 m in height and is 33.4 m in diameter; it also boasts 260 windows.
  • Hippodrome - Hippodrome (At Meydani) the backdrop of chariot races and the center of Byzantine civic life. Of the ornaments which once decorated it, only three remain: The Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. The Obelisk is in the Egyptian style and was erected in 1547 BC and stood 60m tall. The German Fountain is also within the hippodrome area, constructed in Germany to mark German Emperor Wilhelm II’s second visit to Istanbul; it was imported and officially opened on January 1 1901. The fountain’s three domes are decorated with gold mosaics.
  • Kapali Carsi - The Grand Bazaar (Kapali Carsi) is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with more than 58 covered streets and over 1,200 shops. Opened in 1461, it is well known for its jewelry, pottery, spice, and carpet shops. Many of the stalls in the bazaar are grouped by the type of goods, with special areas for leather coats, gold jewelry and the like. The bazaar contains two bedestens (domed masonry structures built for storage and safe keeping), the first of which was constructed between 1455 and 1461 by the order of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. The grand bazaar consists of 12 major buildings and has 22 doors.
  • Binbirdirek - Binbirdirek Cistern Which was built by Roman Emperor Theodosius II between 428 and 443 to store water supplied by the Valens Aqueduct (Roman Period water Reservoir ).
  • Hagia Sophia Mosque - Hagia-Sophia is a truly awe inspiring, 1,400 years old Byzantine cathedral which houses mosaics, relics and iron work. Hagia Sophia was, for nearly a thousand years, the largest enclosed space in the world, and is still seen as one of the world’s most important architectural monuments. It is one of Turkey’s most popular attractions, drawn by the sheer spectacle of its size, architecture, mosaics and art. It was built during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD.

Serious and reliable. Highly recommended. - I had spent a wonderful day in Istanbul. My driver and guide were reliable and trusting at all times. I had booked at very short notice and had taken advantage of the service fetch and bring to the hotel. Although the road was long, this was never a problem. My guide as well as my driver were friendly and professional. All the described targets were visited and others. Price performance absolutely fine and no hidden costs. 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommended. Thank you for that!

Ideal way to see Istanbul - In one day we saw three times as much as we could have seen on our own or with another tour group. Emre was so knowledgeable about every place we went, very helpful and so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend this tour.

Emre is the best! - Emre is the best tour guide I have had of all vacations (and I travel a lot). He is very knowledgeable of Turkish history, very thoughtful of guests and constantly checks on their wellbeing. Emre provided the airport transfers and day tours of Istanbul and Bosphorus. In all aspects it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Emre.

An amazing experience with Embre! - Embre was one of the most outstanding guides I have met in the 108 countries I have traveled to. He is amazing. So accommodating for any needs or wants in everything. I cannot imagine there is anything he cannot do. He went out of his way to get us dinner/show reservations at a local restaurant which was such a big ask as the place was sold out. Ember is so knowledgeable and answered everything we ask about. We will be contacting Embre when we return to Turkey. He is nothing short of amazing.!!!!!

Well curated and delightful experience with our Guide in Istanbul - We had the best time in Istanbul and we credit our experience to our tour guide Emre. Emre was recommended by our dear friends who leave in Turkey and we knew we were going to be pampered. Emre was very knowledgeable and friendly and, above all, adapted to our style. He was very responsive before we arrive, during our trip, and even after we departed to make sure we were ok. I highly recommend Emre’s services. We will be back and continue our journey with him when we return to Istanbul.

Private Tour with Experienced & Knowledgeable Guide/Driver - The driver cum guide was truly experienced and certainly knows all the "hidden tresures" not usually found with the usual routes. His knowledge on the historical sites was like a walking encyclopedia. Plus we still took many scenic shots. Highly recommended.
