Get out of the city to see what else Turkey has to offer. - A superb trip. Informative, well planned, and professional from start to finish. The 6.30am collection and 4 hour drive each way was well worth it to experience the site of the city of Troy. The guide was excellent, giving detail and depth to our understanding. I would highly recommend this trip. 5*.

Amazing! - The tour was amazing. We were very satisfied with the communication with the staff. Our tour guide Burak was extremely funny and we learned a lot of things we didn't knew. We recommend it 100%.

Our tour guide is tour de force - It’s a treat to have Burak for the tour guide. He’s an archaeologist living in Camille with a visible passion for the Troia site. The experience and knowledge gain far exceeded my expectations, which made the really long drive from and back to Istanbul within one day worthwhile.

All day Troy tour from Istanbul during the summer. - It was a great experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and its history. The only downfall was the extreme heat we had to face during our tour. We were fortunate to think ahead and take blackout umbrellas, which helped quite a bit. But I felt really bad for other people on our tour that were not as prepared. My recommendation for anybody wanting to go to Troy is to either not go when it’s really hot during the middle of the summer, or go but be very prepared with extra water and umbrellas and sunscreen. and as for the umbrellas, make sure they are UV protectant and are the type not to fold outwards with strong winds. Overall, however, it was a very good experience and the guides and drivers provided by this tour company were excellent. strongly recommend.

A Quiet but Powerful Experience - Great day out from Istanbul to one of the most exciting journey in past of Troy and its connection to the myth of the Trojan War. Standing near the ruins, it’s easy to imagine the epic battles that once raged. Our tour guide, was absolutely outstanding. Throughout the Journey , the guide was very engaging and answered all of our questions with patience and depth. Recommend this Tour as to transport back in time. It’s a place where history comes to life, and if you’re ever in Turkey, it’s well worth the trip.

Real life Troy - The pickup is early but a worthy, refreshing day trip to Troy which is about 4 hours from Istanbul with a pit stop/bathroom break both way. During this time you can buy yourself tea/snack. It’s interesting connecting this historic city, & its ruins to reality and our tour guide Charlie was great. However, be mindful there are a few changes along the tour including transportation, driver and guide. “Lunch” being included is ok and one less stress. Also it’s nice to view the scenery and other side of Istanbul away from the hustle and bustle…. We had a great time, and would highly recommend.

Troy guided Tour - Pickup was on time but at the different hotel so we had to walk over there which was not too far. We were the first ones to be picked up and had to drive around for another hour to pick up other guests. After that first stop was in 1.5 hours at the gas station for restroom brake. Then we head out to the next stop where we had lunch and changed cars. There was a beautiful seaside where me and my girlfriend took gorgeous pictures. Next we took fairy across and the rest of the way was about 20 minutes. When we exited fairy we were asked for our passports which we were not notified about. Luckily we had them on us. At the Troy site we had guided tour, guide was very knowledgeable but was rushing a bit and we wanted to spend more time at each exhibit or even browse around on our own with audio guide instead. He was rushing us because we had to make time to get back on fairy. We spent about 1.5 hours at the site and headed back. On the way back we stopped at Canakkale city center where we took pictures of the horse that was filmed in Troy movie. We had new driver who drove us back to Istanbul which was nice and we pretty much slept all the way back. We were back at Istanbul at 9:30 PM. Overall we highly recommend this tour and are glad we used this company for this trip.

Troy was incredible! - Troy was incredible, but go if you really want to see it. It's far and tiring to go there for just one day, I think it's better to stay there for at least 2 nights to make it worth it and make the most of the trip.
