Corinth Canal - We will begin with a drive along the coast. On the way you will view of some Greek seaside villages and the island of Salamis (where the historical naval battle took place between the Athenians and the Persians).
Our first stop the Corinth Canal. Opened in 1892 separating the Peloponnese peninsula from the rest of Greece and connecting the Saronic Gulf to the Corinthian Sea. You will have time to walk across on a pedestrian bridge to admire the canal closer, (if you’re game) on some days bungee jumping is an option. - Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos) - Ancient Corinth, located at the foot of the hill includes the Roman Agora of Corinth, the temple of God Apollo and a small museum. Apart from its archaeological and historical interest Ancient Corinth is also one of the most popular religious destinations in Greece as this was where the Apostle Paul preached Christianity, was judged by the tribunal in the Agora and established the best organized Christian church of that period.
- Temple of Apollo - The temple of Apollo at Corinth is one of the earliest Doric temples in the Peloponnese and the Greek mainland. Built around 560 B.C.E., of local monolithic limestone on top of an imposing, rocky hill to the north of Acrocorinth, the Archaic temple was an emblem for the Greek city of Corinth, reflecting its growth and prosperity.
- Acrocorinth - Ancient Corinth is dominated by the hill of Acrocorinth, the oldest and largest castle in southern Greece. We will stop here for some incredible photos.
- Athens - We will drive back to Athens.

Corinth Tour - Enjoyed the backstory on development of Corinth canal & the sight if it did not disappoint. Continued on to Apollo’s Temple with amazing artifacts. Final stop was Corinth Acropolis which could be used as set for a medieval movie. Our driver Babis was very pleasant & knowledgeable on ancient history related to the sites. Highly recommend!

A tour of Corinth and the Temple of Apollo are time well spent. - The entire day was very memorable. Our tour guide, Elias was pleasant, knowledgeable and accomadating. The small town of Corinth provides a contrast to the busyness of Athens and fills in some history about the Apostle Paul. A stop at a multi-generational artisan pottery shop is amazing for anyone that appreciates hand crafted museum quality unique pieces of art and metal work. The shop is short ride from Apollo's temple and the museum. It happens to be named Temple of Apollo. A stop at the Canal provided a pretty backdrop for a selfie photo. For those that like a challenge, the hike up through Acrocorinrh may be for you, but we recommend wearing hiking shoes. It can be slippery. Even if you don't reach the peak, our wish is that you enjoy the views no matter how far you are able or choose to travel along the rocky path.

Very good time at Ancient Corinth - Being able to see and walk in the paths of the Apostle Paul. Was a little challenging for people with limited mobility.

Half day Corinth - Dem picked us up in an immaculate car & drove us to ancient Korinth. The ride was wonderful and Dem was very informative about the history of Greece, Athens, and Korinth. In addition, he fielded all sorts of questions we had about general life in Greece & was an excellent sport. Highly recommend!

Great tour but felt rushed - Tour guide was good but all felt a bit rushed for time - perhaps because it was a bank holiday weekend
