• Corinth Canal - Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation for a scenic coastal drive to Corinth, which takes about 50 minutes. As we approach Ancient Corinth, we’ll stop to marvel at the engineering wonder of the Corinth Canal.
• The Diolkos - After enjoying the stunning view of the canal, we’ll head to the west entrance to see the famous Diolkos, built around the 6th century BC. This ancient paved trackway was used to haul ships from one body of water to another, showcasing the ingenuity of ancient Greek technology.
• Archaia Korinthos - The ancient city of Corinth is historically significant for its strategic location, thriving trade, and influential culture. Positioned between the Ionian and Aegean Seas, Corinth controlled the narrow Isthmus, a crucial trade route linking the Mediterranean and Black Seas, and was the founding site of the Isthmian Games.
