Highlights
  • Corinth Canal - The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island. The canal was dug through the isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for many modern ships.
From high up, you can enjoy the best view of Corinth’s isthmus and admire the steep limestone walls while you observe the vessels below you navigate their way through the canal.

Excellently organized day trip with impressive sights - Well organized day excursion , comfortable touring car and in particular again an excellent guide. After a stop at the Corinth Canal then to Naplio with short city walk and lunch. Then on to the impressive theatre of Epidaurus and finally the top attraction Mycenae It was very hot but walk up the Lions gate to the remains of the old palace of King Agamemnon, conqueror of Troy. All in all a top day and highly recommended

Amazing Day in The Peloponnese - We had a great day with Notis (may have spelled this wrong). He picked us up exactly on time and is an excellent driver. He is a student of history so was very interesting to talk to about matters past and present. He made sure we were comfortable in the car and covered all the locations indicated on the tour description. We liked that he told us about what we were visiting before and answered our questions after, but we were able to explore the locations according to our own timing and interests. All in all it was a wonderful introduction to this part of Greece...which is exciting and well worth a visit.

A wonderful day trip out of Athens - We were a group of six women friends in a private van. Our driver and guide Panos was wonderful to spend the day with. He was punctual, friendly, accommodating and full of interesting information. He drove carefully around the mountain curves and got us back to the hotel at exactly the time we requested. We had enough time to get a decent taste of all the main sites we wanted to see. It was a wonderful day. We really loved it.

Great tour - This trip was amazing! The ruins were unbelievable, so glad we picked this tour. Nafplio is so beautiful and the lunch was so delicious. We would not have been able to see all we saw without this tour. Nick was a great driver. He was so patient and helpful. Would definitely recommend this tour. Nafplio is gorgeous!

Historical gem - Pedros (Peter) was a good driver and did not get flustered when we encountered unavoidable traffic. We were interested in ancient Greek History, so this was a good tour. Mycenae held 5000 year old ruins. Epidaurus was a little underwhelming, but it is on the way to Nafplio. Epidaurus is the birthplace of medicine/Aesclipus. Nafplio is a Venetian city that is family friendly. Be aware that the tickets to the 3 areas are not included and you pay at the time of arrival. Children are considered 6-25 years old. If you have no interest in history, skip this tour. Having a private car helped in that we could stop whenever we needed to.

No worth paying a private tour - We booked a private tour, we paid around $515 for 2 people. This was the second time this week that we did a private tour. We specifically ask the tour operator to send a driver with lots of knowledge, as they offered in their website. They ask us if we were interested to pay $400 more for a registered tour guide we said no, just because our 1st private tour that we took the driver was very knowledgeable of the history of Athens. So the driver that this company sent us, was a very nice driver with cero "0" knowledge of the history of these places. It's not the driver s fault. is the fault of the company that sent a driver with cero knowledge even though they offer in their website drivers with deep knowledge of the history. So the ride was completely in silent, we were on wifi looking for info. I feel robbed.
