Highlights
  • Corinth Canal - Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. The canal was initially proposed in classical times and a failed effort was made to build it in the 1st century AD. The canal was dug through the isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for many modern ships. It is currently of little economic importance becoming mainly a tourist attraction. From the bridge, you can enjoy wonderful views and admire the steep limestone walls while you observe the vessels passing by the narrow canal.

Incredibly pleasant - The trip with our guide, Antoni, was incredibly pleasant. This was not a regular guided tour, it was a journey through ancient roads, memories and the motivations that keep us, humans, still in search of our future while confronting each other through our ancient roots. Thank you for this very touching experience.

Great full day excursion - This was a great excursion to see surrounding areas of Athens. Our driver was very accommodating to our needs and interests & provided a lot of great conversation & information about the sites as well as Greek history. We covered a lot of ground in our 9 hour tour and all the archeological sites were incredible to see. Don’t miss the Mycenae museum!. But. our favorite stop was probably Nafplio - such a beautiful & quaint seaside town. Lunch was great. We took the private day trip which made for a perfect adventure. Would highly recommend.

Cornith Canal, Mycenae, Napflio day trip. - The trip was amazing. Panos was great, he knew the history of the area, landmarks, explaining each as we approached. It was a relaxing and laid back way to see the sights. Panos was funny and made the trip go by fast. The trip was at our pace, with lunch by the sea. Car was clean and kept cool. Panos made sure to watch and pick us up fast.

Fantastic day trip from Athens. - I booked this tour for the final day of my week in Athens and it was a wonderful way to end my trip. I got to see multiple beautiful and interesting places without the stress of trying to get there on my own. Giorgos was a lovely driver to spend the day with, he was friendly and shared interesting history on the drive between sites, pointed out good spots for photos and gave me a great recommendation for a restaurant at lunch time. I'll definitely look to book another tour if I come back to Greece. Thanks Giorgos!

Oldest to Old to kind of Old! - Incredible day seeing so much in the Peloponnesse! Mycenae first in morning was perfect! Epidaurus was magnificent, and Nafplio was perfect for lunch and beautiful to see. George was the best driver we’ve had this trip.

Educational fun just for you - This tour puts your group, however small, in the hands of a guide who can explain history, answer questions, and help you make the most of the experience. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and a good driver, which was important because he did all the driving himself. Each stop was interesting and offered splendid views. Greece lovingly preserves its historic sites in a way that other countries might learn from. We enjoyed the tour very much and recommend it.
