Beautiful - Highly recommend. Ponza was breathtaking and the travel wasn’t too bad. We had just done Pompeii and Positano two days prior and this travel was so much easier…though the ferry was longer than indicated…closer to two hours actively traveling in the water. The views and swimming locations are incredible.Gabriele was a great guide.

a wonderful experience with a wonderful guide - The tour was fantastic. Everything was very well organized. Our guide Mara from EcoArt led us through the day brilliantly, explained a lot to us, was always available to answer questions and was super friendly and helpful. The boat tour was fantastic, with lots of stops to swim in the most beautiful places. For example, we swam through a cave with Mara. Ponza is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

The BEST Tour! - This was the best tour I have ever taken! Luca, our tour guide, was personable and amazing! He knew all of the historical points along the way and took extra time to make sure that everyone had a good time. The swimming spots were perfect and the water felt phenomenal. I enjoy taking photos and you had more than enough to take as many photos as you would like-also took my GoPro and got some cool underwater footage. This tour is a must, and if you’re lucky enough to get Luca, you will have the best day of your life!

It’s a must do!! - Our guide was amazing, our captain was impressive navigating the island effortlessly and allowing us to get close to things less experienced captains could. Our guide called us to ensure we could find meeting location, offered extensive information about the islands and history, and had a wonderful demeanor. Couldn’t speak highly enough about this trip!

Beautiful waters of Ponza! Must See. - The trip was very well organized. Gabriel was super friendly and kept everyone in time to ensure smooth transition between points. He translated everything so that everyone on the boat had access to the historical information as we sailed Ponza. The day began at the meeting point, which was conveniently open so you can have a small breakfast before beginning the day. We hopped on a bus, approximately 1 hr to the ferry. Ferry ride was about 1.5 hours which took us to the boat we boarded to tour the island . We spent approximately 5 hours in the boat with 5 stops for swimming or sunbathing. Although there were approximately 40-50 people in the boat , there was plenty of room. All the stops were amazing. The water was beautiful and it was plenty of time to swim (approximately 20-30 min per stop). My only precaution is to bring some sort of small flotation blow up device if you are not a strong swimmer. There were no life vests offered nor other assisted swimming items . I am a strong swimmer so it wasn’t an issue for me BUT we did have people who were not and it was a bit scary. At one point, there is a stop where you can swim through a cave. While it was beautiful, I thought it a little reckless to have people swimming against the current through a cave with no life saving device and only one guide at the front of the swim who also was not swimming with a life saving device. My advice is to have at least two guides on this tour or have the boat crew assist. Other than that this is a wonderful tour and well worth the money!!! Everyone as delightful and Gabriel was a great guide .
