Pasta, laughs and learning - Walter is amazing. He’s very personable, friendly, and a great teacher. We got an inside look at some small market shops in Trastevere (just outside Rome) and learned about local practices regarding meat, cheese and pasta. We then learned how to make two types of pasta which turned out brilliantly. The taste was a bonus compared to the experience. If you’re looking for a fun way to engage with the local area and have an experience you can bring home, I highly recommend you book with Eating Rome. Thanks Walter.

Pasta Class Success! - This was such a fun experience and Trastevere is a great neighborhood! We ate well and drank well and actually came home thinking we can make pasta! Our chef-instructor was skilled at having us all interact with each other and we enjoyed meeting new people and sharing trip itineraries and ideas. We did this on our first day in Rome and left with great restaurant suggestions for the rest of our trip!

Porcetta, Parmesan and pasta. - The Porchetta was to die for. Riccardo was knowledgeable, engaging and fun. Our group was very interactive. My only criticism was that the advertisement was unlimited wine during class but this was not the case. We were poured one at lunch and then was challenging to get more.

Making pasta was awesome! - Toni and Valentina was our guides and they did an amazing job at introducing and educating us on making pasta. The family deli was also a great part of the tour, our daughter really enjoyed entertaining the youngest of the guest. She is currently going to school here in Rome for her Master’s degree. The class was a great experience and our host were outstanding! GN

Pasta Making - just ok - Enjoyable experience making pasta and learning the steps of the process. Whilst we enjoyed Porcetta, we didn't a visit a market as described to collect ingredients, the endless wine was actually just one glass and participating in a mixed adult/child group didn't work for us as the children where not well behaved and where not so engaged with the class. Long hair not tied back and then included in the pasta wasnt great.
