Bucket list, checked - It was a good thing that we picked this tour since a chunk of time would have been spent to gain entry to the Vatican that was flocked with devotees and tourist alike. I feel honored to be in a holy place.

A lot of knowledge, also a lot of time - The tour guide knew a lot, but also talked a lot. Didn't really feel what the group wasn't interested in. As a result, we ran out of time for our evening flight

Great Tour - Great tour. The Vatican museums were very crowded but that is expected in July. Giuliana (our tour guide) was knowledgeable and all around a fun, witty guide!

St. Peter's Basilica, the... - St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican museums are amazing. Unfortunately, the structure of this tour is not great though. Our tour started at 2:15pm but that included lines and standing outside in the 100°F heat until 3:30pm when we were finally able to enter the museums. Museums were incredibly crowded and hard to navigate. Our guide also had a lot of trouble keeping our group together amongst the huge crowds. We were supplied a headphone to listen to her talk about what we were seeing, but it was dysfunctional and we could only hear about half of what she said. Overall, we had a positive experience based on the sheer grandeur of the location but the experience provided by this service was definitely not worth the $250 we paid for two.

Incredible sights but incredibly rushed - The sights to be seen on this tour were amazing. Unfortunately everyone (from all tour groups) were really rushed through everything, often being told that we needed to keep walking. Our tour guide did a good job of making sure no one got separated but she had a softer voice and the radios/earbud were terrible. I feel like the guide had a lot to share but I could barely hear anything. I would also add that this is NOT wheelchair friendly, despite what the listing may say. There are a million stairs and thankfully we had a super compact easy to break down and set up stroller. All that being said, most of that has more to do with the Vatican and its policies than the tour operated itself. The tour was organized and at the end (when they turn you loose) you can take your time at St. Peter’s and it is amazing. In fact, I would recommend doing just St. Peter’s or St. Peter’s and a self guided audio tour at your own pace.

A quick visit, too many people - A very good interesting Guide and a nice visit. Only groups too big and too fast. Not really time to appreciate the works and objects of the museum. A lot of people.
