They’re made from a blend of boiled meat, accented with lemon zest and nutmeg, and fried in frothy butter. The final sampling will be a dessert-like treat, rooted in Milanese tradition and known as LA BARBAJADA. This concoction was created by Domenico Barbaja in a bar near the LA SCALA THEATRE. This delightful beverage, which Barbaja inadvertently crafted by combining coffee and cocoa with water and milk, creating a slight foam, and topping off with rich whipped cream, has been pleasing Milanese palates for years. Our tour guides will share the history behind these dishes, and present the best aspects of our beautiful city, which serves as a backdrop to your culinary journey.
