Fabulous Tour - We took this incredible tour with Valentina yesterday and recommend it highly. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Sardinia and Cagliari. We left with a strong understanding and appreciation of the old and new cities. She explained things with clarity and there were no difficulties with the English language. We would highly recommend her as a guide and will look for her should we return to Sardinia.

Sardinia's Fascinating History - The most memorable part of the trip is hearing from the tour host, Valentina, about the various empires and city states that controlled Sardinia. As a result, the culture and traditions in Cagliari is a mixture of Roman, Catalonian, Piedmontese influences. This mixture is evident in the structures and buildings that we saw on the tour. Prior to the city being occupied by these groups of people it was interesting to learn that the island was first settled by people from Central Europe as opposed to groups of people from the area we now identify as Italy on the Italian peninsula. Valentina was an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable, well-spoken in English, and a pleasure to spend 3 hours with touring the city. I recommend her and her company, Talis (so great, excellent in Latin), without reservation.

A perfect introduction to the city - Valentina was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and showed us places we never would’ve discovered on our own. She also gave us great restaurant recommendations and pointed out places to come back to. We saw a lot but at a very comfortable and relaxing pace. She went out of her way to attend to the group and make sure everyone was having a good time. Highly recommend!!

A highly recommended personal tour - Valentina was suggested to us when we were looking for a tour of a nuraghe. It was a great suggestion. She picked us up in her little Fiat 500 and we went to Nuraghe Arrubiu. Her bubbly personality and wealth of knowledge made the experience fabulous. She never minded when our questions were stupid and we were blown away by the ingenuity and lifestyle of the ancient people who built these extraordinary structures.

Highly recommend – a great experience! - Valentina is a very nice guide who knows how to explain the history of this city with passion and in a very interesting way. I prefer to tour in Italian (I've been learning it for a few years) when I'm in Italy, and Valentina speaks very clearly. I loved this tour, and our chats! I also appreciated his quick and effective communication. Thank you Valentina for this amazing tour and the pizzeria advice!

Great tour that covered a lot! - My husband and I booked this tour last minute while on our honeymoon in Sardinia. We wanted to do a day trip to Cagliari because of its' history, but I knew we wouldn't be able to get the most out of it ourselves. Valentina took us all over the historical quarters and we saw & learned so much! Valentina studied art history and has a PhD, so you're in excellent hands. Highly recommend this walking tour (it was ~3 hour), if you want to cover a lot of ground and history.

Historical city tour through Cagliari (German) - I spontaneously booked the historical city tour with my family (3 adults). Valentina guided us through all 4 districts on foot and gave us information about the history of the city (in German). She supported the information with printouts (photos) that she brought with her. This was a private tour and Valentina made it an unforgettable experience. The time was spontaneously discussed personally (via WhatsApp) after booking.
