- Villaggio Nuragico Palmavera - The Palmavera complex is situated on its namesake promontory, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the sea, within the Porto Conte park, near Alghero. Constructed from limestone and sandstone, it features a central structure with two towers, an ante-mural, and several huts; currently, fewer than 50 remain, though originally there were between 150 and 200.
The main tower was erected during the 15th-14th centuries B.C., standing eight meters tall with a diameter of ten meters, and includes a central chamber with a tholos roof and a staircase leading to the terrace. In the 9th century B.C., a second tower and a large meeting hut were added. Among the artifacts, a model nuraghe was discovered, with a replica displayed at the site, while the original is housed at the G.A. Sanna Museum in Sassari. During the 9th-8th century B.C., a perimeter wall with four towers was constructed. Following a fire, the village was re-inhabited during the Punic and Roman periods.
- Spiaggia Torre del Porticciolo - The Porticciolo beach, nestled in a charming bay, is crescent-shaped and situated below the northern promontory, dominated by the tower that lends it its name. The shoreline is composed of dark amber sand with medium-sized grains, interspersed with small, smooth pebbles of the same hue. At both ends, the sand transitions into rocks and boulders that descend into the crystal-clear waters, which range from emerald green to turquoise and feature a shallow seabed with a mix of sand and pebbles. Behind the beach lies the lush vegetation of the Porto Conte Regional Park. In summer, the beach is moderately visited, offers good wind protection, and has minimal posidonia.
- Belvedere Foradada - The Belvedere Foradada, located at Capo Caccia in Alghero, is a stunning viewpoint offering a breathtaking view of Sardinia’s north-western coast. Its prime location allows visitors to admire the crystal-clear sea and majestic cliffs, as well as the iconic Isola Foradada, from which the belvedere derives its name. The view from the belvedere is particularly striking at sunset, when the sun bathes the sky in warm colors and reflects on the water, creating a scene of rare beauty. This spot is perfect for a panoramic walk and for those seeking a moment of tranquility surrounded by nature.
