Bon appetite! - This is a hands on experience that is really enjoyable. It is a family owned business and they treat you like Family! They educated you on the Techniques in making the sauces and pasta and gave us the recipes too!! We had time to relax and enjoy some wine and cheese and bread in between the lessons. This is a must when visiting Taormina or Catania! Loved it!

Perfect Day! - Best Cooking class experience we have ever had! Chef and his family were very welcoming and fun. Loved making the fresh pasta and delicious meal. Charming restaurant by the sea. Would definitely do this again!

Wonderful and enriching experience - Chef Mimmo, chef Vittorio and Mama went above and beyond to provide a warm and welcoming environment. We learned how to make many shapes of our own pasta, the most delicious caponata I have ever had and a pasta alla Norma that was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed freshly baked bread, delicious wine and snacks.
The atmosphere was fun and very interactive. We looked out over the sea which contributed to the beauty of the class.
I highly recommend this experience to everyone. We left incredibly full but I believe that it was one of our top Italian meals on our trip.
Do not hesitate to sign up for this adventure. Absolutely worth the price!!

Excellent cooking class - This was such a great cooking class. Family run and authentic Sicily pasta making and stuffed fish! It was good value for money. Chef Mimo was great, informative and added some fun to it! Would highly reccomend. Plenty of wine to enjoy too.

A Must-Do Experience in Sicily! 🍝❤️ - Unforgettable Experience!
This cooking class was an absolute highlight of our trip to Sicily! Chef Mimmo and his family were so warm and welcoming. We made six types of pasta noodles, caponata, pesto, and swordfish — everything was incredibly delicious. It was fun, hands-on, and we left with full bellies and full hearts ❤️ A must-do while in Sicily! Did I mention the chef gives you the recipes so you have them to try at home!?

10 out of 10 a MUST FO - Cannot say enough GOOD about this experience. The chef and mama were the kindest most welcoming family and everyone had a great time. The food was incredible. We had pasta and carbonara and even pesto! The wine was yummy and the atmosphere was perfect. We even got the family recipes! Would TOTALLY RECOMMEND to all ages! They could accommodate even large groups

Extremely unprofessional - Our group of 12 booked this cooking class in Taormina well in advance and were all looking forward to it as the highlight of our visit. We were arriving by cruise ship and coordinated everything carefully, even arranging a round-trip private taxi from the port costing 700 euros to make sure we arrived on time.
Before leaving the ship, I personally called Chef Mimmo to confirm our reservation, our group size, and exactly where to meet. I even called again while en route to ensure there were no issues. Each time, I was reassured everything was fine.
When we finally arrived—hot, tired, and excited to begin—we were shocked and humiliated to be told that our class had been canceled last minute. No message, no phone call, no email. Nothing. The chef himself confirmed the cancellation when we were already standing there with our full group, ready to go.
This is completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. We were left stranded with no alternatives and completely wasted an entire day of our limited time in port—not to mention the 600 euros in taxi fare and the huge disappointment for our entire group.
Chef Mimmo personally checked our email to see that we had not received an email about cancellation. Only one stating CONFIRMED.
We have traveled extensively and have taken many cooking classes around the world, but have never encountered such poor communication and disregard for guests. If a class needs to be canceled, there is no excuse for not notifying customers in advance—especially when the reservation was confirmed multiple times on the very day of arrival.
Warning to others: Do not book here unless you are prepared for the possibility of last-minute cancellations without notice. This experience was a complete failure in professionalism, organization, and basic courtesy.
