A wonderful tour. - A delightfully interesting tour, that opened my eyes to the difficult and inspiring past of Palermo. Angela is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Sad we didn't get to meet Gobo but far too hot for dogs. Thank you for your recommendations also.

Highly recommended‼️ - Gobo's Tours was AWESOME! It was super interesting and eye-opening. I don't want to spoil much, but some of the stops were really sentimental, but little Gobo was there providing emotional support with her cuteness! 😆 Also, I have a short attention span, but I was surprised I managed to stay engaged throughout Angela's storytelling of the local history, she really has a talent! I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Palermo or even residents!

Delightful discoveries! - Angela, the tour operator, is so knowledgeable about really interesting things in Palermo! She is definitely going to be our go-to person for recommendations on future trips. We only had a very quick trip to Palermo last summer to discover it a bit for the first time-- I have lived in the Veneto region of Italy years ago, and I brought my husband back to Italy some years after that to introduce him to my family there, as well as to see various famous cities and sites, but neither of us had been any further south than Rome. So, last summer after a study abroad experience in France had concluded, we hopped a plane to Palermo to get a glimpse, before heading north to see family. Angela guided us on a tour of discovery while telling us the amazing tale of the assassination of Joe Petrosino, and we were able to find his name written in the concrete on the border of the garden (Giardino Garibaldi) in the piazza where he was murdered! The park itself is so beautiful, and there are a couple of restaurants there which look like they serve very, very good food (one of them had fun live music going as well)! We had already eaten dinner, but we were ready for gelato, and Angela had previously recommended the gelateria right there, Roro Gelateria. (We take full advantage of our easy access to real gelato whenever we visit Italy. We also visited another gelateria on our other day based on Angela's recommendation, Al Cassaro on Via Vittorio Emmanuele, not too far from the Quattro Canti). Angela has a passion for this city and its history that is infectious, and highly praises its gustatory offerings (aka, yummy food and drink)--so I feel like you are in safe hands with her for a pleasantly memorable experience!
