Participants will learn basic wine tasting techniques and discover the various grapes and styles found in Sicily. Each wine will be paired with discussions on complementary food pairings. Enjoy a selection of delicious toasted bread, homemade dips, olives, and our own extra virgin olive oil alongside the wine tasting. There will also be an opportunity to purchase any wines, allowing the enjoyment to continue whether traveling to new destinations or relaxing on a beautiful rooftop terrace.

With a local certified sommelier, you’ll be met at a lovely wine bar in an affluent part of Palermo, nestled in between the Politeama Theatre and the chic Via Liberta. Here, we’ll sit at a tasting table and sample 5 local wines from small Sicilian vineyards. We’ll talk about the wines in detail and also sample some authentic and delicious local food. Informative but certainly not stuffy, this is a wine and food tasting experience for those who want to learn about Sicilian wine whilst having a great time doing so.

We'll meet at the very place of the tasting, a tastefully designed wine bar called St'Oliva in an affluent part of Palermo. The tasting will take place on our very own table and it will feel intimate (up to 8 people per tasting) but definitely not stuffy. So what are you waiting for?
