  • Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore - Enter the iconic cathedral from a separate entrance for small groups.
In the company of your expert guide, learn about the Cathedral, its construction through the centuries, and how it came to be the center of Florence’s religious life.
Your guide will help you understand how the Duomo relates to all of the other gorgeous buildings in the Square.

Your Brunelleschi Pass will give you access to the Cathedral and other monuments.

  • The Baptistery of St. John - In the company of an expert, get priority admission to the octagonal Baptistery of St. John, best known for its ceiling decorated by golden mosaics. It’s also renowned for its gleaming bronze doors, known as the Gates of Paradise.
Gaze at the relief work on the detailed panels, and you might be surprised to learn that these are not the originals. The authentic bronze East Doors are currently on display in the Museum.
  • Opera del Duomo Museum - Explore the magnificent Duomo Museum in Florence, home to an impressive collection of priceless art and artifacts from the city’s rich history. With your knowledgeable guide, discover fascinating exhibits such as the original wooden scaffolding used in constructing the iconic dome, Donatello’s breathtaking sculptures, and the renowned Gates of Paradise from the Baptistery.
Admire Michelangelo’s Pietà and other incredible works of art while learning about their history and significance from your expert guide.

  • Giotto’s Bell Tower - Choose to climb Giotto’s bell tower, one of the four principal monuments on the Piazza del Duomo, at your own pace.

Decked out in white, pink, and green marble like the cathedral next to it, this majestic square bell tower is considered to be the most beautiful campanile in Italy. In fact, it was probably designed more for decorative than for functional purposes.

See the Duomo, learn the History! - We visited the Duomo museum and then the Duomo itself. Our guide Alessandra (not sure if I spelled it correctly), was amazing. Her knowledge and passion for her presentation was amazing. We really enjoyed the tour and learned quite a bit! I do recommend bringing a bottle of water with you when you climb up the dome. We did it while it was 90 degrees out, and it was very necessary to have water. While we were climbing the stairs with only a water bottle, we respected the workers who had to carry large building supplies to the top! Great tour, I highly recommend it!

Must see! - Martina was knowledgeable, personable and had a good sense of humor. Very good experience for our family with older teens. The overall group size was small which helped make it very manageable!

Awesome tour guide - Very kind and animated lady gave us the tour. She really knew her stuff and was passionate about what she was doing. My husbands favorite tour so far. We did not climb the steps because of the heat but it was fantastic anyway.

Grazie, Leonardo! - Leonardo di Firenze was an exceptional tour guide. As an expert on so much more than just the Cattedrale, Baptistero, Museo, and Duomo, he interspersed his information and comments with an incredibly delightful sense of humor. My husband and I did a private tour several years ago of the Alhambra, in Granada (we used a local tour company, which most excellent), and that tour guide was amazing, too. It’s always best to organize private tours. Ciao!

They changed meeting point and I missed the tour - Very disappointing. They changed the meeting spot a few days before. This was not reflected in the voucher. I traveled 10,000 miles to do this tour. I worked double shifts all week before the trip so I could take time off. I missed the email about the change. When I got to the meeting location listed on the voucher, there was a guy with a viator sign who told me I was in the right spot and the tour guide would be coming to meet us. We got a text from viator at the time the tour was scheduled saying "meet your guide at the meeting point." I texted back and they would not respond. Why couldn't they send a text with the correct meeting point. So we went to the line of people waiting to get in the duomo. It was about 20 minutes after the tour was supposed to start but they still had not gone inside. I asked the guide if we could join them and he refused and was rude to me and my daughter. We contacted other tour guides and tried the ticket booth and this tour is sold out until after we leave. Very, very disappointed.
