Carb heaven - Eleanora was very experienced and passionate about cooking, making pasta, and all aspects organic local Umbria products. We had a wonderful time and will be using our newly acquired pasta making skills when we get home. The owner of the wine store across the street, Stelvietti, also made the experience unforgettable. He brought us wonderful glasses of wine and local taste of cheese, olive oil, truffles …while we enjoyed the cooking experience.

Cooking experience with Eleonora - A wonderful cooking experience with Eleonora. She has authentically designed and very lovingly passed on the understanding of how to make pasta dough and meat sauce. She responded to recipe requests in advance. I am very grateful that she even conducted the course for me alone. So I was able to ask many questions and she showed me again and again the correct handling of the Matarello or how to form tortellini by hand. This cooking class is a big highlight during my stay in Italy. The prepared pasta as well as the sauce were allowed to be taken away, so I still had a great dinner with the homemade pasta. I am looking forward to applying what I have learned at home and spoiling family and friends with authentic Italian cuisine.

Enjoyable and Fun Day - My brother and I had an absolute blast learning to make fettuccine and ravioli in Assisi! Held in a small group setting, we were able to ask questions and not feel lost with the instructions. The instructor was absolutely lovely and we would highly recommend.

Fun, tasty and educational! - This was a wonderful experience! Eleanora, our chef, sent us across the street where Francesco served us antipasti of cheeses, meats, bread and wine. Eleanora taught us to make one pizza dough which could be turned into three pastas-fettuccine, ravioli and tortellini. Along with a delicious ragu and spinach and ricotta filling, we made and ate spinach & ricotta ravioli. We also got to take our fettuccine home! Eleanora had patience for both my husband and me, since we were the only ones in the class! I’d highly recommend this class for learning about pasta making and eating a delicious meal!

Sibling cooking class - Our chef and teacher Eleanor is delightful and knows her way around all things pasta. She put us at ease with her patience and humor as we clumsily worked the dough. Amazingly we ended up with a fine ravioli dinner as well as hand cut noodles for later. Loved the trick in cutting the noodles. A great experience to add to our sibling vacation.

A Memorable Experience in Assisi - Eleonora was an excellent teacher. She was patient with us and explained each step well. Ultimately, we were proud of the pasta we made from scratch, and the tiramisu we made was delicious. More than anything, we enjoyed the conversation with our teacher. Eleonora is not only a talented chef but also quite learned and wise. My wife and I learned new things about Italian cuisine, but more importantly, we feel like we made a friend in Assisi.

A Must-Do Outing! - Cant speak highly enough of our time with Eleanor! She was precious and charming and encouraging and instructional and so very patient...this outing went far beyond our expectations. She offers a class "in centro" if you need to be within Assisi city. But we opted to take a taxi (about 50Euro for the 17 min drive) to her stunning place in the countryside. It was a beautiful, spacious home with a main level completely dedicated to her cooking and hosting events. The brick walls and the stunning arches made it feel like a true italian cooking experience. We arrived to a welcome of cheeses, meats, homemade bread and accompaniments. Next we prepped our dessert and out it in the fridge to set and cool. Then we made 2 types of pasta, learning about the right flour, the right measurements, and the correct way to knead the dough. Once done, Eleanor cooked our pasta and we enjoyed a fantastic meal! Highly Highly Recommend
