Find the local hidden gems - I was the sole participant in this tour, but it was great and made it even more enjoyable! Miriam was very sweet and had lots of interesting info to say about the city. She also took me to legitimately hidden gems you can't even find on Google Maps. LOVED IT!

Hidden gems in Verona - I was the only one on this tour with Miriam, and I loved it. First, we tasted different types of olive oil, which I loved, then went on to taste traditional Pizette Rosa at a place that's not even on Google Maps, followed by a charcuterie tasting of local cheeses and wine, and finally some dessert. I also got a little extra beef cutlet, which was fab! The amount of food was perfect (if I hadn't had the beef cutlet, I would have needed more). Would be good to throw in a coffee spot into the mix

Ok, but - The city of Verona is beautiful, the tour was interesting but the bites and drinks were not what we are used to in a foodtour.

Didn’t meet expectations - Our tour guide was very personable and we enjoyed talking with him. Unfortunately, our city tour was delayed because we were waiting for another group to join us. Our guide didn’t explain much about the wines or the history of the city. We enjoyed the food and sweets and wine samples. We didn’t receive the bruschetta or the vegetable pate, as listed. What we had was nice, but for the fee, we expected more tastings and history.

Disorganized tour, poorly planned: Loosey Goosey. - Merriam did a great job filling in for this tour as our guide at the last minute. The whole thing was very disorganized. Our food tour was changed at the last minute to an earlier time, and then changed again just when we showed up at the place we were supposed to start so it seemed like it would be cancelled. Then Merriam showed up, saved the day for this company. All the restaurants we were supposed to go to were closed because of Sunday, but Mirriam was able to alter the plans and knew some others to fill in the gap. There was no audio system so we did not hear much. People were getting left behind and obviously did not get any information from the guide. One of the couples only spoke Italian and so we had to wait for the information to be presented twice once in English then in Italian. We did not do all the places listed because of the extra time needed to explain everything twice. It was a nice walk through the city and Mirriam was intelligent about the city and very nice, but I don't think I will take another tour with Get your Guide due to the poor organization.

Don't waste your money - Our guide was brilliant, knowledgeable and friendly....however the food content (if you could call a bread stop; a chocolate stop; a dry pastry stop where we had to pay for water; and a charcuterie stop with half a glass of wine) was abysmal. We've done previous food tours in Madrid, Rome, Barcelona and Nova Scotia which have been well worth the money but to be honest I want my £100 back from this one
